I'm nit picking, ha bloody ha! You've spend 6 pages trying and failing to convince anyone that they need a gigabit modem. Moron.

The only thing you can manage to slag the iPhone off for is gigabit LTE which you can't use and two extra bits of screen, if you weren't demented you'd walk away but no back for more pie, everyone here knows you as Custard Pie and for good reason.

course you are, going on about click here for full screen and ranting on about battery level - nothing to do with the discussions at hand.
I explained Gigabit LTE a billion times but you are too retarded to understand - have you a college degree? I doubt it.
The WiFi on Frapple and Note 8 is different also, see previous post.
So get your facts right and stop talking shiite.
Iphones are always behind the times, even apple insider said so but of course being an Apple site they pretty much said its fine, no need to invest in tech as its not mature enough etc which is bollocks.
In Asia they have super fast LTE speeds, - but not on a ****ty iPhone wally.
and this was 2014...

300 is nothing, your older iPhone quite likely supports it, in the UK probably no households can get those speeds, totally unnecessary.

ive consistently had 80-90 Mb/s speeds, even in the sticks of Khao Yai district in Thailand i had about 90Mb/s
Not sure why there should be such a huge variation in Frapple speeds from your 5Mb/s to 30 ish Mb/s.
what were you saying about the iphone and Note having same modem - you need to wash your teeth from all that shiite you are saying.

It’s pretty obvious to most people, why support something nobody can use. Simple.

I’m man enough to admit a mistake, the iPhone and the S8 share the same WiFi chip. It’s better than the Note one, so there is that.
Apple WiFi Broadcom BCM4361
Samsung S8 Broadcom BCM4361

Hang on....
"In the Samsung Galaxy S8 teardown, we found the Broadcom BCM4361 5G Wi-Fi 802.11ac and the Bluetooth 5.0 wireless combo IC in the Murata module KM7206044. The BCM4361 was the industry’s first Bluetooth 5.0 supported SoC at that time."
The Murata bit is just a module, inside is the same wifi chip as the iPhone 8. I can't be arsed to dig deeper but I fully suspect that your Note has the same chip inside the module.
I no longer believe that I made a mistake and am back to slinging pies.

that teardown says 'Murata KM6D28040 Wi-Fi Module', where as the one you linked says 'Murata Wi-Fi module KM7206044.'
just to throw some mud in the water, however, just because the same chip is used doesn't mean it has the same performance when used in a differing module.

Thats a bit like comparing a 3L V6 engine with a 3L v6 with twin turbo. and saying they should have the same performance lol
You'll prob find they have about 95% the same hardware, after all a circuit board is just resistors, switches and capacitors.
I think you've shot yourself in the foot with that one jack, because it just go's to show how much markup apple is putting on their hardware.

I don't think so at all, why wouldn't a device that contains more hardware cost more than another. The iPhone has many hardware functions not available in other devices, those cost money.
The whole point here is that TP's point is pointless, same chip, different chip, it matters not, features you can't use are useless.
