Group hug *******.

These mobile devices have come a long way. I’ve borrowed a weak laser, so it needs to be pretty dark. The AR measuring was very accurate, angles, levels and spans.

Its just in their marketing bs it does suggest how secure it is, plus all the modeling work they did with 3rd parties, machine learning lol, all of which is obviously more bs.
Machine learning is a powerful tool, even 10 year olds can unlock Face id

Looks like the iPhone X sucks for LTE download speeds too, another reason I guess to justify that £1k price tag

That notch in the X is truly ridiculous also, how anyone can live with that I don't quite understand.

Plus this is bs too -

Quote:
That’s a necessary compromise to make room for that Face ID camera tech that nobody else has
The Note 8 has iris recognition, probably with flaws but it doesn't have a ridiculous notch taken from the display.

Apple marketing the X as an all screen device is typical of them taking their fans as idiots.

lol yep a compromise for something that doesn't work very well.

But yea that notch is horrible from a design point of view, it's the 1st thing I thought when i saw one in the flesh recently, just gets in the way, I really don't see what other features it's allegedly going to bring in the future that would be worth losing that screen area for. Aweful.

iphone 7 is £439

I'm currently using my old Note 4 it still takes amazing photos and the P2 still works perfectly just the glass is shattered from one end to the other with 100+ cracks and I don't think repair shops carry the glass for them or if they do it's nearly as much as the phone cost according to forum posts i've seen.

So losing a relatively small area of the screen is an absolute show stopper... That there sounds like Fandroid Apple rage to me.
