You’re probably right because even though they produce memory they don’t include it, leaving you to use slow memory cards.

 

They do there are 3 sizes for the Note 8 64gb, 128gb and 256gb, but the bigger 2 are only sold in certain markets mainly Asia from what I can see.

As for service there shouldn't be any need for any it's a simple transaction not a fanfare event. If you are suggesting Apple post sales customer service is better if you buy direct from the store then that is not the great customer service you hail them for as it's the product you are buying and it should have no bearing where you bought it from especially if it is from an authorised reseller like Very.
