They will cease to be linked shortly, they leave them up for a while to give you a chance to pay

I paid as trying to host pictures for some parts I was selling was a nigh are due to constant pop ups. I paid the £15 and instantly I could easily upload pictures.

As soon as I heard about the higher fee I made sure I cancelled the recurring payment on PayPal just in case they could grab more money from me.

http://imgur.com is probably the easiest as you can get the sharing links for each picture like in sh1tbucket, create albums etc.

If you use Google apps, then really you should make use of https://photos.google.com too.

Flickr is another.

To get pics from crapperbucket to another, it's easiest to upload from the source, i.e. your PC/lappy whatever, to the new site, you do have backups right? Otherwise you will have to download them all from cackbucket then upload them. Either way you're going to have to upload all your pics to whatever new site you choose to use.

All the pics i either download or take with cameras are automatically backed up to 3 different cloud services, Google photos and Quickpic's CM cloud (for phone use) and Onedrive (for PC use).

For pics on here i just upload pics using snets built in uploader.

Funny enough i used ad blocker as recommended by a member on here, then photobucket works alot better. Then i downed there app again as deleted it a while ago as was slow and wouldn't work correctly. But now works fine.

So why are all my images still visible. Maybe if the rest of people had paid £15 for the year we wouldn't be in this mess

I paid nothing and some of my images are still visible on posts, but I don't expect that to last forever.

Yea doesn't surprise me, they make a mess of everything they do it seems. Noticed how slow it is to load up their site these days? Absolute garbage.

Is there any way to get your photo's back without ponying up loads of cash?

You can download all of your photobucket albums to your computer easily enough, but you will need to find a different service like flickr to re-upload them to and then go into every thread you want your pictures visible to redo the links to the new hosting service. Or pay the robbing b*****ds as photobucket $400 a year. Which I won't be doing.

I tried a few different picture hosting services and found flickr to be the easiest so far.

I saw this on another forum and thought it might help out some people here.
For those of you who are using google chrome:

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...m_source=gmail

This should sort out the blocked images.
[I have no idea who the author of the extension is, so use it at your own risk.]

But I've tried it and it works great. I can now see all the images in teh broken links again in the threads so long as I use chrome as the browser.
