The angry part of me really hopes that they make any visit to an EU country, by a UK citizen post-Brexit, a visa-only affair. Like Russia, I would make it one visa allowed a single entry and regress. It would be worth it just to see Alcafcktard cry like a b1tch abit it (like he does everything else)

Nobody has responded because article 13 has little to do with Brexit or how it affect our economy overall.

If you think the inability to make memes is important in the context of being in or out of the EU, fill yer boots, but most of us are concerned with the economy being ruined and being stuck in trade limbo for years to come.

Leaving aside the vague nature of your question (article 13 of the Lisbon Treaty? Article 13 of the European Copyright Directive which is being voted on today by the European Parliament? Which article 13?) you're definitely deluded if you think you're worth engaging with, given that you have repeatedly said us remainers are, and I quote, a bunch of whining wnakers, *****, etc etc. My last direct reply to you, regarding who picked our fruit and veg before we joined the EU, was met with a deafening silence. So yes, zero response from me.

Actually, I'm reading a book at the moment, and it talks about how Britain opened it's borders to anyone and everyone, with no regard for monitoring who was in the country whatsoever, in Victorian times, to satisfy the need for labour to build the country's industrial and economic strength.

So, the Wrexiteers who seem to wish to return the UK to its greatness of Victorian times are actually yearning for a time when immigrants made it great. Oh the irony..........

I think article 13 is excellent, at least one better than article 12, and I'm sure article 14 will be even better.

Now why don't you just get it off your chest and let us all know what you think of this?

No, I've discussed it at great length with other people who actually care about such things, including my MEP, I'm just not interested in discussing it with you in particular. Get over it.

Good game. We all like a riddle. So again, perhaps you can tell us what you mean by article 13? Like, article 13 of what? Because, you see, there are rather a lot of article 13s. I was referring to article 13 of the proposed European Copyright Directive, since this is currently being voted on, and is a subject close to me. Not sure what I'm supposed to be lying about.....

The result of the European Parliament vote on the Copyright Directive is just in, MEPs have rejected it in it's present form. Good result, since it was deeply flawed. The value gap for creators urgently needs addressing, but not at the expense of potentially losing things like Wikis etc. I'm glad I wrote to my MEP about this, it shows that the EU is a functioning democracy, and illustrates that the idea of the EU as a dictatorship, with Brussels imposing laws is, and always was, a lie. Of course, pretty soon we'll have no say at all in such matters, even though the result will affect us.

Oh dear, another Wrexiteer narrative proved to be a lie, the EU Parliament rejects Article 13, democracy in action.

In some ways more democratic than ours, as there is no whip in the EP, no huge majority of one party, so nothing can get pushed through on the whim of party.

As a remain voter I wouldn't support that quote as a fact of reality. Although would welcome that as the ideology.

As a mild example, the current spotlight on how the AirBnB lobby groups are influencing the EU to curb the independance of cities to restrict its use/abuse...most cities have council members and mayors democratically elected by the local public, yet there is an attempt to override their powers.

The AirBnB lobby documentation is classed as corporate secrets and public access is denied...this isn't the 'transparent' behaviour that I would expect. And in part it is overriding local democracy.

I think lobbying is a problem for all Western democracies (look how much power the NRA has, for example), but they are still democratic. The point was that how Wrexiteers represent the EP is simply not true.

Quick Reply: So Brexit seems to be a good thing then.
