I voted neither way. I was educated in the UK and presently live here on sufferance, being an EU passport holder but not a Brit. Had I had the vote I would have probably voted remain but I understand the concerns of the many who voted to leave. There seem to be reasonable arguments in both camps.

Anyway, back on subject, realistically, if the EU votes to move ahead to the next stage, what chance it can be concluded by March 2019?

Looking at other recent trade deals with them, not a great chance. How long will paid access to the market last, will it end at all?

May's govt seems to be on a knife edge, will be interesting to see how the next (early) GE will be fought.

It's nice to see there is still some democracy left in the UK parliament... Finally common sense has prevailed.

We can't just wander blindly into a situation that could well see the UK on it's knees and those least able to afford it paying the biggest price.

Yet again I see those with multi-million pound fortunes as the most determined to go through with exiting the EU regardless of the consequences to the majority that have very little to nothing and will no doubt feel the most hardship... especially given the fact that very little will change re the immigrant situation... which for the most part was one of the key factors for many voting for Brexit.
