What a brilliant idea! I'll declare my land independent of Dudley Council. As I actually live in Worcestershire and I'm overruled by unelected dictators that refuse to let me prune my own tree (as it affects the "amenity of the area" -said in a hippy/treehugging nasally lefty voice) and they send me nasty letters if I accidentally put a pizza box in the wrong recycling bin. Not to mention demanding tax for doing pretty much sod all in the immediate locality bar empty the bins.

Then I can cut down my own tree, fix the street light outside my house that never works properly (and doesn't do much as its smothered by said tree) and frack my own gas in the back garden so I can run my household off my own fuel.

I am, apart from taking the rise out of poor spellings, punctuation and grammar.
No more arguments from me.

PS: Is that a very young Corbyn in Ali's post above? Your esteemed leader, LOL

Yeah that's nice in all but I pinched it from Google images...

As for the Comrade Corbyn being my "esteemed leader"... You're funny. Never voted Labour in my life. So yet again, you're wrong.

Parliament agreed the referendum, accepted the decision, voted on article 50.

There is no turning back, it's either a great deal or no deal.

Also you have realise that even a deal could be dismissed by the EU and or any country.

Any way you slice it, the UK will have left the EU March 2019.

It will never cease to amaze me that people are happy with this, even when it became clear the politicians in charge of the whole fiasco don't even undstand the full implications.

I think we will officially leave the EU in March 2019, but I can also see us effectively remaining in for a long time.

It is becoming increasingly clear that no deal is a bad deal, and that the actions of the US and India, China's increasing strength etc illustrate that the Leave campaign's dream of unfettered trade with the rest of the world is just that, a dream.

I was watching a programme on WWI last week, and interestingly it said the reason Britain was so successful was it's Empire allowed to have a huge free trade area around the world. The British Empire was just a bigger version of the EU, with us at the helm, the ultimate expression of anti-democracy, which Leavers seem to think the EU is.

Leavers harken back for those days, but that isn't going to happen, and that contrary to what they think, being part of a huge trading bloc is what makes you successful, not being on your own. It really is the greatest irony.

Fantastic, you didn't even make 24 hours this time. If that's any indication of the staying power of the average Brexiter then we best get a start on our application for the EU now as they'll want back in by 2020.

The fact that your first post back after 'Brexiting' was to start a fight with someone...

So you won't interact with yourself? That must be interesting. You have insulted loads of people on these boards, and now get the hump. Hypocrite!

By the way, each time you answer me, you are interacting with me

You really are soft aren't you?

If you had anything to offer but rudeness, I'd be interested. But you haven't.

My guess is that you are quite young, you certainly seem naive?

I just can't be bothered any more, tbh.
The Brexit vote has already cost the economy billions of pounds as our economic output has stuttered badly.

Plus UK based business share prices are down by 20%.

So a lot of those gloomy forecast were pretty accurate.

Still interacting, you just can't help yourself, can you?. I am young compared to you, sure, but it would appear you cannot read or retain facts as I stated in an earlier post when I was born. That

Doesn't bode well, does it?

As for anything to offer, I asked you a pointed question with not a rude thing it, which you have refused to answer.

Answer the question, or don't answer it, I don't really care, but stop hiding and making excuses

Anyway, back to the matter in hand, I see that some MPs are urging May to walk away from the talks.

I fail to see how that would give any certainty to businesses at all. Ok, they would know that WTO rules would then apply to imports and exports, but what about all the other stuff?

There's a legion of things which are not specifically about importing or exporting goods (or services) which affect companies, and they would have no idea what that is going to look like in March 2019. It would be utter chaos.

Not just companies either, all the EU funded (in part or in whole) projects, airlines, security etc. The list goes on.

You'd hope that may has a tight enough grip on the reigns to ignore them and at least try and get some sort of deal, as no deal is disasterous.

No surprise to Snetters obviously - even the Brexidiots

I highlighted this in a post around 6 months ago

https://www.thetimes.co.uk/edition/n...m-eu-x2s57r7c0

"British airlines are preparing to warn their customers that flights booked after March 2019 may not take off and they will not pay compensation if planes are grounded.

In a stark response to the uncertainties of Brexit, airlines are drawing up contingency plans to update websites with notices alerting passengers purchasing advance tickets that their bookings cannot be guaranteed."

"No deal" is simply tossed out as catnip to the Brexit Jihadis

I said over sixth months ago too - that "no deal" is insane, the EU know this

but David Davis is still in denial - it has only been a year or so since he said that he would do individual deals with Germany/France etc - WRONG

and that he would hot foot it over to Berlin to do a deal - WRONG

and all the Brexiteers said it would be the easiest deal EVAA - WRONG

you will know when the UK is actually serious about a "no deal" because they will have to build 20 mile square lorry parks at our ports - and install specialised BIP (Border Inspection posts) as these will be required to inspect every single bit of food we import from the EU and beyond - and we inport 40% of our food)

https://www.gov.uk/guidance/plant-health-controls

Some plants and plant produce are prohibited from entering this country from outside the EU while others must meet certain requirements and be accompanied by a phytosanitary certificate.

Importers must check if a plant or plant product requires phytosanitary certification to be allowed entry into the EU. You must register with Defra before you import any controlled plants or plant products. These certificates confirm that the goods have been inspected in their country of origin and meet EU standards on the absence of pests and diseases.
