Well you're starting to change your position on this then.

You're going to have to move a lot more than that though

Nope. Been saying that all along.
somewhere on this thread I made reference to leaving a club/magazine subs etc.
That's what you do.
you DON'T pay for stuff you haven't had/won't have and you don't pay for the fact of leaving.

Has no-one else but me noticed that after theras's speech in firnze, the two she aimed it at were conspicuous by their silence, (Juncker, Barnier), and almost IMMEDIATELY, up pops the next puppet, MacRon-ald, to throw even more stalling tactics in the way?

Strange, huh?

Please explain?
So now you're admitting 350million was lie?

The absolute figure is irrelevant, it's what you get for your money. Plenty of people think it was worth it, others like yourself do not.

That is called opinion. Doesn't get away from the lie about 350 million, though, does it?

Well you're going to be more miserable than normal when this is all settled, although I suspect you'll 'adjust' your view on this again as things become clearer

Do don't seem to get the fact that the 20b that May has already conceded is money we will pay AFTER we leave the EU, it's not for club membership, we're already paying that.

I suppose it depends on whether the EU is committed to paying out to UK institutions until the end of the financial period it talks about. If so, then why why shouldn't we pay in? If not, then yes, I suppose that should be negotiated.

Of course, if you think of the EU as the UK's wife, then it makes perfect sense to give them loads of money in a divorce!

Of course it wasn't a lie. It was the gross figure.

Most folk, when quoting what they earn, quote the gross, not the nett or take home, don't they?

Your lot have still somehow disappeared the remaining 234million a week, though, haven't they?

I would humbly suggest that what the gentleman was in fact saying is that (incredible as this might sound) he genuinely doesn't understand whence the figure of 234 Million is derived

On that basis, I would also humbly suggest that a good proportion of those monies saved (whatever their actual value) be spent rather on the education system in this country than the NHS

Proof?

She has said no such thing, to my knowledge.

Only that we will pay what we owe.

No, it's a lie. It said if we leave the EU, we will have 350million extra to spend on the NHS (or whatever, it doesn't matter).

What you earn is totally different, if someone said to you "how much do you have to spend each week", you wouldn't say "well, I earn 800 a week", because you don't have that to spend.

As for disappearing, who has disappeared anything? We simply pointed out that the figure of 350million is incorrect.

I'm not sure why you find this so difficult to understand.

Just watch the News, read her speech, read a paper.

What did you think it was for?

Here the first article that comes up when you bother to look for the facts...

The sign said that we give the EU 350 million a week. That's not a lie no matter how you spin it. Whether they give it back, or we withold part of it, we are commited to that spend.
It also SUGGESTED we spend it better.

THAT resounded with a whole load of voters...and why not?

Why give it to ex-communist states that hated us forty years ago, when we could spend it on our NHS, our pensioners, our service men and women???

LOL at Martin. Have YOU read that article?

It says we will pay for something, NOT pay to leave which is what Barnier has been saying.
Get a grip, man.

Yet you think it's ok to make trade deals with countries whose resources we raped when they were part of our empire and resented us?

Here. have another double standard.

This is the problem with Brextieers, they live in the past. Can't forgive a country that hated us, or we hated, want a return to a time that simply cannot exist anymore.

You and your ilk are dinosaurs, you have robbed the youth of their future. Ironically, I also blame the youth for being too lazy to come out and vote

In the former East Germany, Afd actually polled enough to be the second largest party, with 21.5%.

Like I've said before, you liberals (intolerant to anyone who doesn't share your opinions) are your own worst enemies.

All this is occurring on a backdrop of a strong global economy.. which is built on the biggest debt bubble in history. When that goes pop just watch the surge in support for the far right. You reap what you sow.
Splintering down the middle as we speak

A protest vote at best of course
