Nissan will be going home anyway, like most Japanese manufacturers, global restructuring due to slumping sales. They missed their golden chance to be a global EV leader with the Leaf, but just didn't make anything of it with years of zero competition. Nissan like most legacy ICE makers, they made a token EV and only improved once Tesla were coming up on the rails in sale in 2018. No vast improvements since, compared to the market leader.

Tesla all the way

Lol, sure and the EU have said no to our pleading for reduced tariffs on electric cars, so they wont be built here whatever happens to nissan, also the rules and regulations over electric cars will be decided in the EU - not on the UK

Well done brexidiots

But listen, i would love a no deal, genuinely - but sadly i still think Johnson doesn't have the cojones to go for one - he is a cowardly bull****ing clown

Dont you get it yet - wakey wakey andy97 we are begging for a deal, honestly you brexidiots are so credulous

But the real rider is, whatever deal we manage to bend over to ger wont even save Nissan

The denizons of Kent are just the Canary in the coal mine as to the ****storm that awaits - slowly at first, but relentless nonetheless

Every single bit of bull**** you fvctards spouted in 2016 is turning to dust

with no deal the electric car regulations for the UK will be decided in the UK, but the markets know a darn sight more than you do and they didnt crash, in fact they went up, so its pretty obvious your out of touch with what is really going on despite what you think.

This is correct. Boris was clear enough.

VDL, Barnier thought ( they really did think nothing had changed) the show just carries on next week as normal, but

The government spokesperson was more direct in clarifying what Boris said- Do not bother coming next week for talks unless there is a seismic change in the EU negotiating position.

Now Barnier is only going to have 2 min call next week-pretty much confirming the EU don't want to alter their position

Ergo no deal, so Boris was correct in taking the next step to moving with WTO

The Markets hardly fluttered on the news, so had already expected no deal.

Jack that's not going to help.

Hodgy keeps banging on about thick people who voted leave. He, obviously is filled with inner bitterness. Most likely he is that type of character

Most folk have accepted who weren't for supporting leaving the EU.

It achieved nothing, ended up alienating folk even more.

There has been four votes on leaving the EU

Cameron promised a referendum on the matter- he won

Referendum was won by leave voters

May went for a remain winning vote to load up her parliament with remainers to neutralise the ERG, she won the GE but lost ultimate goal

Boris went for a snap election to bring the matter to a head. All the remainers who blocked Boris were not elected and he won a stonking majority to deliver leaving the EU.

The matter is beyond settled

If I were to be on the losing side and filled with such hatred like a person like Hodgy. I would have made plans to leave a country where they have no patriotic inclination.

Countries under the EU control have some wonderful places to live.

Andy, the more I read your messages the more I believe you are not a nice person. You generally do not give a **** what happens to the masses as long as you are doing great in your castle. You would let the earth go to waste as long as your garden is green. It is no good screaming "we won, we won" when the people who "won" don't even know what the prize is. When we see a 2 year old playing with matches we take them off that kid as we do not want to see them get hurt and they do not know better. When the politicians who voted remain got upset it is because they knew what the prize was. If you are sat on a ship and 51% of people vote to sink it with everyone on board should the captain of the ship and the crew fight to save it or simply let everyone drown, even the 49% of the passengers who do not want to drown?

You see you've done it again, inferring people who voted leave didn't know what they wanted, are child like in mentality.

It matters not what their reasons were.

I will continue to rub salt into remainers wounds having endured years of belittling comments exampled above.

Yes leave won and thank goodness we did

I never said they did not know what they wanted. 24% of the UK population wanted out of the EU and they got it. The problem is the average leave person in the UK have/had no idea what it is going to cost them now they have it. Some can absorb the costs (e,g, you) but there will be many, many who voted leave who cannot absorb the costs and their only retort can be "I did not know. I did not know"
