So Brexit seems to be a good thing then.

This was an interesting read where it says most British people do not like most of the fish and other stuff caught in British waters and most of it automatically gets sold in France anyway as our boats dock in France rather than try and sell unwanted fish in the UK.

This really made me chuckle yesterday. Worth a read to the end and it's updating daily.

There was a co-ordinated attack on my Twitter password and now my DM's are filling up with loads of attack posts by Brexit supporters including threats to me and my wife.
Nice lot these Brexiteers

Looks like the Brexit bonus really is the gift that keeps on giving:
"The main story in the Financial Times highlights an acknowledgement by government officials that British companies will have to complete an extra 215 million customs declarations to continue to trade with Europe post-Brexit - at a cost of around seven billion pounds a year.
The paper says the forms would need to be filled out "regardless of whether the UK and the EU conclude a trade deal this year with the aim of removing all tariffs and quotas" - and would be mirrored by the same process by counterparties in the EU, resulting in some 430 million forms in total each year."

Better get those bulk orders of biros in quick, before supplies start drying up,

Hmmm, seems a bit like all this control we've taken back still isn't really in our hands!

But at least we'll have stopped all those immigrants taking our jobs in the fields, coffee shops, care homes and cleaning toilets that we so desperately want back!

Yes, but we've taken back control! For example we can choose who supplies our 5G networks! ...oh wait, no, 'murica won't let us choose otherwise we don't get the trade deal we need from them! But we can still do trade deals with whoever we like, such as China! ....oh wait, China won't give us a trade deal unless we buy their 5G technology!

Do I detect a note of sarcasm in your voice Mr Brady?

Saying that, I've met a few British expats who voted for Brexit and over the last year the reality of the direct consequences for them have started to dawn on them! Whilst they generally aren't blaming they EU for their new problems, they do complain that they were lied to by Boris and his bus!
I also suspect it is not true, or at least highly exaggerated, but its still very funny

"The Amazon FBA Brexit bombshell has dropped which will significantly impact your Amazon business from the 1st of January 2021. Amazon’s UK FBA operations will be split from the EU with no more EFN (European Fufilment Network) and an end to Pan-European FBA inventory transfers between the UK and EU."
Another win for the Brexidiots

The UK voted to leave the EU
Things are going to be done differently in future
Big deal, get with the plan............. OR
If you don't like it, up-sticks to the EU nirvana quasi state.

Zimbabwe ministers are patting themselves on the back at having been able to balance the books , easily able to meet 1.5 percent gdp budget deficit .
what they don’t tell you is they’ve conveniently left out any spending on social services and health
you have to take your own sheets food and medicine / medical equipment when attending hospital , and then pay through the nose for everything else ....

You cant decide to leave, then agree to have an institution maintain control, penalties and policy.
Its akin to leaving a job you dont like, but having your ex employer decide, your wages, hours, working methods and disciplinary for you.
It will be fantastic to have no snares, ties. Much, much better. for WTO. Dream come true if we achieve ,'no deal'
