So Brexit seems to be a good thing then.
So after promising a huge investment in Britain after Wrexit in the election, the Tories are now planning bigger budget cuts than the spending increases they promised! Talk about a gullible populace. That and the two amusing ladies above (plus loads of others I saw over the weekend) show you really should have to take an exam before you can vote.
Ten years down the line, when we are in the ****, they will still blame

Looks like the Brexiteer dream of stopping immigration dead in its tracks as soon as we leave the EU is still further away than ever:

Kinda not brexit related but given Germany is the biggest force in the EU shows how the establishment will act.

So a democratic vote being talked about being reversed because the establishment doesn't agree with it. Whether you agree or disagree with the politics, the majority has spoken, that is the fundamental point of democracy how ever the system works.

Also Thüringen is not really representative of current German politics, although the British press like to make a lot of noise about it to give the impression that the right wing vote is on the rise in Germany. Overall, the AfD have been losing votes in every other state, particularly since Brexit. The Greens and liberal FDP are the ones mostly increasing in popularity, particularly in local elections. The SPD (Socialist) have really been hit hard in recent years and the CDU/CSU (Merkel's Conservatives) have lost some popularity, but are still by far the most popular party.
So, because we were ruled by a bunch of unelected bureaucrats, we left the EU. Now we are ruled by an unelected bureaucrat in Dominic Cummings

This isn’t new!
Christ has everyone forgot about Blair’s ‘Kicthen cabinet’?
Just history repeating itself, as usual...

Well, just one that the media have highlighted as the main villain de jour.
At least the baying mobs* don’t need to cross the channel to hang him from a nearby tree

Sure we will continue making other countries cars as normal
