Davies and Raab were both leavers and both Brexit secretaries directly responsible for negotiating the deal.

May has won the no confidence vote with 200 out of 317 votes, so quite a majority. There can be no more no confidence votes for a year, so the Brexiteers in the party have played their ace and lost. She now has a stronger position to get cross party support for a deal without any threat from the rebels!

almost all of the 200 votes are on the payroll the rest is 117 who are backbenchers, so no big deal rely most people would vote for thier boss if they wanted to keep thier job, or resign and the was no resignations today was there

Well done, Mrs May.

Now she’s seen off the hard Brexiteers us Remoaners can concentrate on persuading her to call another referendum when her Withdrawal Bill eventually fails, as it inevitably will.

Whether we win that or not, at least we’ll be sure that the country will know what it’s voting for this time.

Thanks Moggie, Boris, Davis, Cash and Boney.

Thos is a very poorly articulated regergitation of what JRM just said.

He's a loser, and he's asking her to resign

My hypocrisy-o-meter just exploded.

I think you're in for a massive disappointment.

Leaving the EU won't make one iota of difference everyday people's lives.

One day we'll wonder why we put ourselves through all the nonsense.

Government dont have the numbers or policy to persuade 100+ tory mps to pass bill next month. What I hope to see, bill voted down, Labour have no confidence vote and back bench tory side with them. May will fold, a new government will be formed with Tory, dup and leave Mp being PM

Perhaps you should look into what moving to WTO would actually entail and what it means.

When you boil it all down, the average Brexiter's train of logic when it comes to justifying or explaining their reasons for wanting out of the EU is akin to a guy going through a mid-life crisis, wishing he could say "stuff it to the wife and kids for a change, I'm going to splurge some of my own hard-earned on that sports car, and see if I can pull that hot blonde bird from Marketing". Pie in the sky b*ll*cks which deep-down they know isn't going to change a thing in the long run, and will just end up making their situation more miserable than it already is.

If they could trade just a fraction of their bile for some self-awareness, we wouldn't be in this mess.

Yes, you have made your reason for voting leave clear, but it's not what everyone wants (which is the crux of the issue, to be honest!). Leaving the EU and being able to make our own trade deals is very important (and let's be honest, crucial to all, leave or remain if we leave with no deal), so WTO rules is the key point here.

Good luck getting a free trade deal with them if we do survive a move like that.

True. So long as they don't eat (food prices up 4% since the £ collapsed against the Euro when we voted leave - despite the best efforts of Aldi & Lidl) or drive (unleaded up from £1.11/litre to £1.35/litre due to £/$ fall). **

Brexit affects every single one of us.

Food price increase will be good for the massive obesity problem tbe UK has, An increase in fuel will help reduce pollution, by discouraging wasteful journeys

Roughly translated - "The pathetic material struggles for existence of the hoi-polloi are of far lesser importance than my sacred political ideology. Now step out of my way, you smelly peasants!"

Largely linked to excessive diets, rapidly growing. Type 1 can be reversed by rapid weight loss and healthy diet.

Maybe he gets confused about leave and remain too!

Somehow I don't think leaving the EU is really the solution to the Obesity/Diabetes problem in the UK! Although obviously the leave side have been peddling Brexit as the solution to all problems! Maybe Brexit will cure baldness too?
