Brussels under attack now

Tell that to the people in Enniskillen, Guildford, Birmingham, Le Mon Restaurant in Belfast, Warrington, plus many many more (Won't mention Warren Point, Hyde Park, Droppin Well Bar, Deal Barracks as they were UK servicemen and I suppose you'd consider them legitimate targets). They were a lot more than disruptive and no coded warnings were given.
And if you don't think they were cowardly then you and I have a different idea as to what a coward is.
The IRA are/were the same as ISIS, cowardly scumbag terrorists. End of.

Yes , its not like the world can grant them a patch in the desert there and let em get on with it . That's not all they want as far as I can tell , apart from anything else theyd need outside resources

Appears there's a school down in Bondi where the Head has removed the word 'Easter' from the school's Hat Parade....

Nearly all the ISIS members seem to be what an old fart like me thinks of as 'youngsters'. I've said on here once before, all they are is a load of naughty young men with too much testosterone who have found somewhere they can act out their fantasies without a responsible grown-up to tell them to stop.
During the Middle Ages in Europe, most of Those Who Fought (as opposed to Those Who Prayed and Those Who Worked, the three classes of people) were very young, sometimes with Generals who were still teenagers. Excess testosterone in play once again.
As Islam (the convenient excuse used by the testosterone-fuelled youth to justify their excesses) still has a rather Medieval outlook on life in many respects (no offence meant, but it does appear to have), surely what we're seeing now is merely a repeat of The Crusades, but with modern weapons and the internet.
If I'm right, I've no idea what to do about it though.

In all armies the majority of the actual fighting force is made up of young men. Unfortunately the Isis leadership is seemingly comprised of an older and more seasoned generation, certainly not a load of naughty young men with too much testosterone!

Why do you see the terms girl, she, woman etc. as an insult? You are obviously a misogynist as well as a ****. Anyway I'm back off home today so see you all in six months. Have fun avoiding the terrorist attacks that you and your government have all brought on yourselves!

What's massively concerning amongst all this is the fact the group wanted to make a 'dirty bomb' with radioactive material. That's pretty much worst case scenario (besides an actual nuke), and it may only be a matter of time until we have a dirty bomb go off in a European city.
It's almost staggering how these terrorists seem to be able to hide in safety in the local communities in these places. There may only be a few thousands prepared to carry out terrorist acts in Belgium for example, but there are many more sympathisers who are allowing this to happen.

Indeed.
And I heard on the afternoon news that a London man who was enticing racial prejudice on Twitter has been arrested:

Brussels attacks seem to have added fuel to the pre-existing fire (of racial prejudice) against the Muslims in general.

To be fair, Jon, despite his unnecessary effing and blinding and anger-filled posts, you're 'twisting' what he said. He didn't wish a terrorist attack on anyone. He's trying to say that the terrorist attacks are called for; due to the actions of the West.
Honestly, don't let these Brussells attacks make you guys carry on your mini cyber war against each other with nonsense accusations.

yes its laugable
Trump - "more guns make you safer"
but America has an obscene number of shootings, both deliberate and accidental
surely according to your mantra "more guns make you safer" - this would not be the case
Trump - "more guns make you safer"
and in a similar vein a pro gun lobbyists (advocating the safely of guns in the home) is accidently shot in the back by her 4 year old son
you really could not make this **** up

Having said that, I won't be taking my kids into any London museums as I planned anytime soon over the Easter school break to avoid being caught up in any potential of an attack. No doubt that news will get Fannyboy all moist.

I didn't twist anything nor said anything to suggest that Fannyboy wished a terrorist attack on anyone. If that is your perception, that wasn't my intention. But to smugly tell us to have "fun" in avoiding terrorist attacks, sarcastically or not, whilst he jets back to Aus shows a complete disregard and a callousness for those caught up in the recent attacks and those unfortunate enough to be caught up in terrorist attacks in the future. That's indefensible.

He brings it all upon himself, though. That's with his short temper and sweating etc., I get that.
As I say, never mind, and you and him may just as well carry on with chucking abuse towards each other.
Happy Easter to all of you, anyway.

Six months wait for the poster's clarification on that, as we know. Until then, Happy Easter to you, too.

What's to clarify? He's obviously of the opinion that the dozens of killed or injured in Brussels earlier this week were to blame for their own fates, due to not protesting strongly enough against their country's determined efforts at apprehending and bringing to justice the perpetrators of dozens more killings and maimings in Paris a few months ago. But hey, what's so controversial about that, it's just an opinion isn't it, like deciding which football team to support?
