Exactly when was the last atrocity committed in the name of Christianity? You're talking like the self important fool that you obviously are, defending the indefensible. And don't presume to judge my levels of outrage; I've seen close up what your 'friends' can do in the name of Islam. I also had the misfortune to be in an Arab country when 9/11 occurred. The celebrations on the streets were sickening to witness, so spare me your tripe about outraged Muslims.
Reality is under attack right now. You have no problem with helping that along.
Trump will be proud
Everyday we are being subjected to lies that are laughably called facts.
These lies aren't coming from the 'mainstream media' they are coming from the office of the President of the US.
A very real attempt to paint an alternative reality is happening under our noses.
In this alternative reality you can ban Muslims, because err you know, they're dangerous. Putin becomes the good guy, mass voter fraud is happening, the murder rate is at its highest rate for 45 years, global warming is a chinese conspiracy, immigrants are rapists and who knows what's next?
So yes, reality is under attack

Go to Saudi Arabia and they do what they want, when they want. What are you and your pals going to do about it?
The double standards are laughable when you live here but not quite as funny if you live there.
If I went to live in Saudi or Pakistan or any other Muslim ****hole you can think of, how many rights to express myself do you think they would afford me?
And yet here we are championing the rights of those who would afford us little if the roles were reversed. Excuse me if my enthusiasm seems somewhat subdued.
Donald Trump is the President of America. My father said to me "My house, my rules" when I lived with my parents. Ultimately he was right and I had no power, whether I was in the right or in the wrong. If I didn't like it I could leave . I did at 17. I doubt either of us were too upset. Guests don't make the rules.

You are making a bizarre equivolence between the brutal Saudi regime and the West. If that's the standard you want us to be held up to then we may as well pack up now.
Also, it's muslims that are oppressed by the House of Saud, you now want to double down on that and oppress them here too.
You have to have huge faith that once they've finished trampling on the rights of Muslims that they won't then start on yours!
It is an alternate reality you can either choose the truth, or the lies coming out of Trumps mouth. Your choice.

I think you need to weigh up the, perceived,Muslim threat against this kind of madness

Not sure why comparing the US to Saudi Arabia is helpful.

We are supposed to be setting an example, is that so hard to understand?

I think Trump trumped it last night. Never heard such 'president-press' conference before.
I think we can have one like that in Britain if Keith Lemon becomes a PM.
Must add that KL doesn't have Trump's arrogance, though. He may be able to put it on, hopefully. Or, we'll have to think of someone else.

Moderate politics will always beat reactionary politics in the long run. We're are in the middle of an interesting political times, but it cannot last.
Everyone seems focussed on Trump... it's the oldest slight of hand in the book... one things for sure... he's not alone in any of this... someone or 'others' are pulling the strings here... mark my words, they're up to no good while everyone is busy watching the puppet show.

The lobbyists, banks, pharma, big agri-biz, etc. who are connected to the men in power are the ones to worry about, alongside the cheeto dusted one. Trump, his cabinet and their connections are letting/making everything go to absolute ****, here.
The guy is more of a stupid monkey, dancing for the cameras whilst terrible and horrible changes are being made and the rights of the citizens of the US (and in essence those of citizens of the world) are being eroded or just plain shredded.
I think Sweden should lauded for its immigration model, very few problems relative to the quantity that have been welcomed .
but of course trumps favorite miss informers, sky news, will paint it completely differently
