Subaru powered Mini one 👍

Small world... I am in the process of this myself, although I went a slightly different route.
More like using as much of the R53 shell as possible and bolting the Subaru parts into it.
The driveshaft is shortened 4.25" at the diff end and the front axle is 1.5" further forward than the subframe relative to the rusted out GD WRX that donated its parts. Front control arms are square tube TCAs and rod end compression rods that mate to some weldment I built off of the back half of the R53 front subframe.
Goal is light weight as as much power as the EJ20 and/or 4EAT can stand

It has one, but I do not know how appropriate it is to link offsite.
A couple more pics.
One primary goal is that the exhaust must exit through the stock location and not pose a ground clearancr issue. Downpipe was sliced massively to place it next to the transmission. The floor needed to be moved anyway, and being left hand drive it is all on the co driver's side.
Mk2 Golf Bilsteins bolt to Impreza uprights (62x25mm bolt pattern), spigot into R53 strut tops, and clear 62cm gravels. They are ALMOST the right height, but I will end up removing the eyes from the WRX struts and sliding them onto these. Same 2" tube OD, but I need to drop the suspension a little on the tubes unless I want WRC like droop travel and stance like bump travel. Car can only run 60cm gravels anyway.
MaH00sive radiator and fan setup, mounted similarly to the Audi S1 E2. Ducting to be determined after the cage install, an order of fabrication I am certain I will regret. Coolant pipes to be run around the sides as rules do not permit coolant in passenger compartment unless OEM.
A bit of fun. STI wing fits S60R like it was made for it! Alas I am 45 not 25 so this will not do.
