They broke things fitting items
they didn’t put pipes back on correctly etc
But let’s go with what you are saying let’s say the car went up with a heap of problems
why could a garage and a mapper between them not rectify one single problem with the car
when the car was there for an 8 week period and said mapper spend alot of time on the car also over three different visits ?
The FACTS are the car was not driveable
why was my car not repaired and then mapped correctly ?why was it scoobyclinic have done all of this and more ?
in truth bob ran for his aeroplane back to the safety of the uk
and Davey Murray was blaming bob also
and poor ol raggy was left holding the baby
I am and I repeat the victim
the least those pair of maggots could of done was refund me when I requested it
good and bad experiences should be shared on the forum
so people can make up there own minds on who they would like to map there cars

Bobs six week visits to Murray motorsport to map as many cars as he can within a two day period is nothing short of a money grab greed and glutney of the highest order
the first day I was there they mapped a classic on a link g4
on the lap top in and then out the road for a 20’mins drive on the road thanks 550 pound
aload ***** how can those cars be mapped correctly in al fairness

sorry mate ,, ill apologise ,, it might have been my wording but typing isnt my best way of communicating ,,, but I wasn't trying to shift who you want to blame anywhere ,,, if you feel people have done you wrong then thats fair enough and im not arguing with that ,,, what I was trying to say was to me it looks like at least a couple of the major problems were there from day one ,, wasn't trying to start a argument with you again

I can only honestly put my own experiences forward and in this one extremely negative
i lost a lot of money and almost gave up with the car
It took so long to get to the clinic because I lost all interest
and the wife said the car is in the garage almost 2 years you can’t drive it you can’t sell it
I was going to break it to recoup some monies on it
but then thought I’d give it one last go to see if I could get this repaired
its not been cheap but as once the work is right that’s secondary

When Andy Forrest remapped one of my STI's, it was done and dusted in 30 or 40 minutes. Ran perfect for the following three years I had it.
It wasn't a complicated car though, blobeye STI, with PPP and no other modifications.

When Andrew Carr first road mapped my FSTI he was done and dusted in no time at all. He had so many cars to get through at Pole Position he was rushed off his feet. He hardly had time to say anything to me, didn't explain himself and was back in no time. Needless to say he made a mistake and a problem only revealed itself when I was 3 hours down the road back at home. I had to wait a long time for another opportunity for him to correct it, which I'm pleased to say he did. After that he took the time to talk me through it and sorted it all out for me and I couldn't have been happier. These mappers need to take on less work and spend more time going through things properly.

Andy Forrest explained everything to me, I drove the car and he instructed what I needed to do, while he sat in the passenger seat with his laptop and det cans on.
Every now and then we would stop while he uploaded something new to the car, I assume this was him tweaking the map based on the live data he was seeing.

I had pops and bangs in the map on my car when I got it. To be honest, its great fun when you're out on the road giving it some but can get a bit tedious when in town driving. Although short shifting (below 2k from memory) does allow you to avoid it.

I had Andrew Carr map pops and bangs into my FSTI at anything over 3k rpm. He mapped in a slight over fuel at 5% throttle at revs over 3k so when driving around town normally it didn't happen and scare old ladies, yet when I gave it the beans and wanted to sound like a rally car it did so. It really worked great. I could choose to drive it how I wanted it and if I wanted to make noise I could feather the throttle!

I've just read your entire thread from the start, what a journey you've had Raggy!

I maybe missed it but did you ever change out the tubular headers you had? I was wondering if maybe these were a factor in your lack of spool? Its widely thought that the OE TS headers are far better for spool but i'm not sure if this is still the case for the kind of power levels you're achieving. Just a thought...

Standard ported headers are only good up to 400bhp. After that they become more restrictive and you need tubular headers like Raggy is using.

Thanks for confirming what I thought BPR. Will wait and see what my headers manage. I'm not going tubular.

True, I'm only yanking your chain. The build looks fantastic Raggy.

We have similar taste in turbos although yours being TS will definitely outspool mine. Really keen to see how it performs.
