the lads are going through the car with a fine tooth combe fair play to them
cant ask for anything fairer than that
and the communication is brilliant
more updates to come lots more
A few people looked at my car some had the car for months including my own mechanic not one of them seen this
which one of them broke it in first place ? Just glad the clinic are on hand to sort this mess out
100 percent man
i want to cover all bases with the car
if there are issues after the ecu goes on I’m sure we can progress from there
whats apparent is there is a massive overfueling issue the front lambda isn’t working
the car was doing 4.2 kilometers per liter off boost
i nursed it up the road a few miles to meet the transporter
lots of things appealed to me about the clinic reoccurring advice on the mapping thread from lads on here was to take it to a garage who could do everything under the one roof
4.2 Km/l is normal for a few miles from cold *IF* your speedo has been converted to miles. It works out to 21+ mpg roughly. Scoobyclinic will be able to confirm how healthy your Air/Fuel sensor is no probs. I hope it's good and you don't need a new one
The intercooler is being done in black and it’s all being reassemble tomorrow
then on with the syvecs sensors and a base map things are starting to get real interesting
Thanks dom
ya there are problems I always suspected there would be
they will really get into nitty gritty when the syvecs goes on
or maybe it will be straight forward god only knows
UPDATE
the intake manifold is back in place
new Perrin intake pipe feeding the turbo
we are going to vent mount the toucan as well instead of mounting it on the dash
things are starting to heat up a bit
