Even as the son of an immigrant and as a person who has emigrated from the UK, even I think it's time to close ALL European borders to new immigrants.
There's more than enough people in Europe as it is, we don't need anymore, regardless of their reasons for coming.
Personally I think if they put as much effort into their own countries as they do into getting to Europe, then the likes of IS would be wiped out in a week or so.
Problem solved.

So does that mean they were all Syrian refugees? Witnesses state some of the assailants spoke French, also 3 came from Brussels. I would eyr on the side of caution for now, jet's not get worked up into a frenzy until we know all the facts, there's already plenty throthing at the mouth at the hysteria.

I'm with Martin an co in that the vast majority of Muslims are good people but I'm also very aware of the fact people can be radicalised overnight. Many whilst travelling 1,000's of miles with Islamists :/
Instead of hearing insults from them I'd like to know where Leftists see the future. Is there a peaceful route away from perpetual terrorism and or civil war and if so how, appeasement and hospitality is failing? Are Sharia zones an answer?

Right, and what of the other assailants then? If anything this is blow to all the genuine refugees escaping the attrocities of war thats torn apart their own countries. You would write them all off based on one passport that was carried by one of the terrorists?

The EU enforced foreign aid, foreign policy and NATO are available for a reason surely all we are doing is importing war and civil unrest instead of implementing reform? The West can't win, they are hated for overseas military action that inevitably ends with civilian casualties and they are hated at home for causing offence. From serving pork to depicting Mohammed.

IMO you are naive. If there are so many refugees fleeing Syrian because this and that why are 90% of them young men. Are the women and children immune to the same horrors? I think not.

It may be a concerned mother who naively posted an Express link, but either way it sends out a message to the Government that people have reservations regarding the free movement of people and it shouldn't be scoffed at.
