To get a better waving response try swopping for a ex-military lightweight Landy, Everyone in landy's wave (except Wales) and if they are in a military you get the thumbs up out the window and a big shout as you drive past
BTW if anyone thinks I've gone mad, it does have a V8

Becareful flashing the lights at other Scoobies.. had a few people pull out on me thinking I was letting them out of the junction.. scarey moments!
Considering an Ex-arm Landy for future when I need more space, but hopefully the scooby will stay too...

I too am a 'wagon' driver.
I do get plenty of waves, but not many from other users of Scoobynet ... 1 spot so far in 8 months of ownership!
The 'wagon' does seem to be slightly 'un-favoured' by other Scoob owners, but get the rear spoilers enlarged and you've got body lines to die for!

i used to have a 4dr and wave/nod at various scoobies on the way to work each day and received a mutual reply. I have now changed to a 5dr for family reasons, moddified in the same way, same private plate as before, and half the people who used to reply dont anymore, miserable stuck up gits.

Liiiiiike the car. As to "am I the Gina G?", well, errrrrrr...nope, 'fraid not. Wouldn't mind being famous for 15 minutes though.

Acorn Way - Derby. Flashed and wavewd, Woman driving peered over the steering wheel and ignored me.
Blue wagon over the bridge at M1 junction 12 - flashed and waved - totally ignored again.
Getting bored now - 2 1/2 years with my scoob, wave at every single scoob I see and never been spotted.

In Derby this morning I saw on the A38 an RB5 with reg M3 ***.
I pulled up behind it and went to flash and wave when the traffic in the righthand lane stopped which was the lane I actually wanted so had to jump lanes etc..
Then on Ring road just past the roundabout they have been digging up saw a white 4dr going to opposite direction to me (he was going towards LittleOver/ A38) but no wave, I don;t think he even saw me.
All around 8:30 to 8:40ish.
