Not a slur to all wagon drivers, just to a couple....

Last night about 10-30 Uxbridge road @the greenway...
You in the red wagon drinking you McD's drink..... I looked over waved and knodded, you just turned away and pretended not to see me.....

This morning about 8-45 cowley road @ packet boat lane.....
You in the green wagon on the cowley road, I was waiting to pull out, waved as you approached and went past...... then followed you and even pulled alongside, again looked/waved as you pulled into the esso/tesco there...... you just kept looking forward.....

You must have both seen me, (DGM 4dr) does anyone wave any more.....

A lot of wagons are driven by 'ordinary folk' who like the Impreza five door for it's practicality....they don't know our ways, they probably thought you were being aggessive....

I've waved at loads of wagons that turn out to be being driven by mum's taking their kids to school

......stick to waving at heavily modded Turbo models!!!

Thumbs down

If they don't have Internet access, and/or have never been on Scoobynet, they are probably wondering why the hell you've waved at them.

Think you might be being a bit harsh...

Oy, me in the silver Wagon in the Eastbourne area! I wave at everyone (in a Scoob) but you are right in the sense that I get less response from other Wagon owners, I guess for the reasons quoted above. Perhaps wave only to modded Wagons? It is bloody annoying when you put in a lot of effort and they glide by - must be concentrating on the road or something!

I've got a wagon and I wave at everyone, but I agree that loads of wagons are driven by farming folk and mothers on the school run, especially DGMs.

OK I may have been a bit harsh.....

But they were both being driven by "lads".... one in a shirt/tie, the other in "civies"....

The red 5dr driver had a big back box, and he was the one drinking the Mc'D's.......

I've always found mums on the school run give you a coy smile or blush if you wave, I try to every time now... 'Ordinary' folk seem a bit flummoxed by it all though!

A new age wagon waved at me this evening on the Chippenham by-pass, sorry if I missed you, was looking ahead for a cyclist, I did wave!

BTW, if you want some serious waving get yourself a fire engine. Works a treat: Ambulances, Police cars (alright, downside!) small children, their mums, inebriated ladies about town at night...oh, and the not so small children who chuck half-bricks, if you're in that rough place called Bristol.

I drive a modified (decat exhaust, Dawes device, Godspeed brakes, OZ wheels, window tint) green MY00 wagon and I always wave at other Scoobies. So here's a little wave for you to make you feel better

So don't all be prejudice and not wave to us Wagon drivers!!!

I have a WR Blue Wagon and i wave, but a lot of the time you never get a response. Particularly if they drive a Sport or GX model.

Don't be so hard on us Wagon drivers we are nice people, honest....

Same thing. I drive a DGM MY97 wagon and am ignored by many 4 door owners. I guess they assume that a wagon will be driven by a numptie! Just 'cos I have a family and have to cram a lot of cr@p in every now and then, does not mean I didn't buy it for the right reasons. I'd be driving a Vectra estate if that were the case!

Cool

I AM NOT HAVING A GO AT WAGON DRIVERS.......

Just that 2 in 2 days pi$$ed me off OK......

Am actually thinking of getting a wagon next myself as it happens, due to the practical reasons, not because I am sad

Slightly off subject but the only complaint I'd have against my Wagon is the rear door is rather small.. despite there being enough room in the car I cannot get some items into the car due to the openning being too small.... rather embaressing that recently a bed I needed to move wouldn't fit but fitted into my mates Fiesta.... doh..

I always wave and get about a 50/50 response in my DBM STi MY98 wagon with loads of smilies and stickers .

However, just spent the last three days driving from Derby to Grimsby and back (A38, M1, M18, M180 six times!!) and only spotted one scooby who didn't wave
