And it's those that "think" they are somehow sharper, cleverer, harder working than the majority and have "earned" their current position and look down on others; they are the ones who are the most vulnerable. Life is going to bite them on the backside.
They sound like Thatcher's children to me..........?

You could ask him what "thing" he help sell for the Swedish bank he did some work for since banks don't "make" things. I don't have problem with his business, he's a self made man and I have nothing against private enterprise and indeed it is something to be applauded. But he doesn't half come out with some bollox!

Really? She was far to late to have been my mentor.

I DO remember a student protest in Brum in 1970/1 carrying a banner which read, Margaret Thatcher: milk snatcher!

Hodgy, is that actually true or a sort of left wing myth as bad as the sort of right wing myth you accuse Cameron and Osborne of perpetrating? (I don't deny they do btw)

Though mainly red and depending on where you define 'the North' I see quite a few blue seats, enough to make the difference between having a
majority or not.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/gene...p-uk-2015.html

If we look at London there is plenty of red.

yes, I think that map gives a slightly distorted view - because the way it is represented

and yes, you are right London has always provided Labour with a large % of seats

London has lots of constituencies, but is obviously most populous, and the majority (outside RBKC and Westminster) tend to be Labour

I will see if I can find the data

this give a better view

and yes lots of blue (they did do well after all)

but most are in very (large) rural areas, so actually representing far fewer that the colouring suggests -- notice all the large centre of population/industry are Red

That'll do for starters.
