I had some horrors when attempting to get a fairly simple but strong coffee.
Never an issue in Europe though.

in Italy, no one would order a Cappuccino/Latte after about 10.00am - it is strictly a morning drink

a cultural faux par - like ordering Nan bread and rice or Yorkshire pudding with roast lamb

Well well all these years I've been eating xmas dinner with roast lamb and yorkshires mind you missus aunt always serves 3 meats at crimbo but her roast lamb is so good I mostly eat that, as far as I'm concerned any roast dinner should have at least a brace of yorkies.

Thinking about it, I often have a garlic and coriander nan or a couple of chapatis as well as rice when I go out for a curry too.

Fill yer boots.

Never had a good coffee in any of these places. I am a tea drinker too mainly but apart from the cafe in my local park, they serve up some pretty grim stuff!

Home is always the best place :-)

Heads up for espresso lovers Lidl are doing a sivercress espresso maker for £49.99 on the 28th of May it's got a 15 bar pump and will have a years warranty worth a punt if it floats you boat.
