Perhaps when they see the kind of information that will be made available and hopefully the developments that could be made, they may just change their opinion.

There doesn't seem to be many inquisitive minds in the community...... perhaps the results I gain, information I provide and discussions I try to invoke, may start to open up those types of conversation.
The cynic in me might suggest that they want to maintain their monopoly on the A45 tuning scene.

Ditch,
I'm sure it's down to the fact that they know what they know. With me being a current outsider, it can be quite difficult to be "accrpted". Saying all of this though, the general response has been really positive..... The MBclub community have been especially welcoming to this project.

From some of the other individuals, I get a feeling of "some of the work you're doing has already been done.... What's the point!!??". Well, if I took that approach before, and not bothered, my previous projects wouldn't have achieved what they did. Just because I follow the overall path that has previously been followed, doesn't mean I won't discover new things that will ultimately benefit all.

There is more than one way to skin a cat, and whilst "they" may think their scene has covered it..... The scene for the A45 hasn't scratched the surface imo, in relation to work that could be done.

I know a few people on MBClub and your project is most definitely raising eyebrows (in a good way) and is most definitely welcome.

TBH it's a great community, like this place used to be. There's a couple of diehards and 'characters' who think any Merc that is changed from factory spec is to be mourned, but most people and especially the AMG guys love the cars, the whole tuning scene (as they are relatively new to it) and more importantly cars and bikes in general.

One of the MSL days I went to a Scoob turned up and there was universal appreciation of the tuning and styling work that had been done to it and what it was capable of. That was a really good thing to see as many of the cars owned by the AMG guys are in a different world price wise to a Scoob, but there is no snobbery. I like it!
