Watched 'Wer' last night. Different. 7/10
Bit of a lost boys meets American Werewolf rip off but with a disturbing twist.

Midnight in Paris - Great sentiment but gets a bit flat at the end. 4/10
San Andreas - Not bad for mindless viewing. It's no 2012. 6/10
I've just put my 55" Sony TV on the bedroom wall and one side is 15mm higher than the other.

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but 'rise of the footsoldier'.
Class film, 10/10

I don't think base camp is quite that high tbh
the only problem with the Base Camp when using the South Col route is that you have to trek there for a week or so
if you attempt Everest on the not so popular North East Ridge route - you can drive to the base camp
most of the actual climbing footage was shot in the North Italian Dolomites

Predestination - Ethan Hawke. Watched last night - very interesting time travel film, but not your usual dross. Give it a good 8/10.

Poltergeist 2015.
Creepy first 45 mins but then opts for unconvincing CGI and comedy.
6/10

Agreed, more holes in the plot than on uk golf courses.
Acting was pretty dire too. In fact it's an insult to even compare this to the original IMO.
Sam Raimi has lost the plot with horror and Sam Rockwell what are you doing? From moon ( one of the greats )to this,, tut tut.

Rockwell was class in t'Green Mile. He ghosted through Poltergeist earning easy money. He's the American Paddy Considine.

Watched Area 51 last night, big disappointment. Decent mystery aspect and intense for the most part but they really bottled giving us a good alien shot. 6/10

How was it? I liked Dog Soldiers.
Watched Looper for the 2nd time last night. Not sure why but I enjoyed it far more 2nd time round.
7/10 film.
