Recommend me some films
It wasn't a patch on dog soldiers but I quite enjoyed it tbh, good special effects.
Also a cameo by Sean Pertwee.
7/10
I generally use amazon for my reviews.

I watched 'The Pyramid' last night, a relatively high budget hybrid found footage film, the critics and audience have panned it but I thought it was highly enjoyable and provided plenty of mystery.
8/10

I saw James Bond of late. I thought it was top!
No brain feed essentially, but sheer entertainment, no doubt.
Opening scene was phenomenal, and I liked when DC drives sideways on the canal wall. I also liked when DC pushes that man full throttle whose safely balloon goes pop!!!! - eventually.
Loved it!

Well a year ago to the very day I posted asking for good films to watch due to me having a few days off as I had not really been much of a movie watcher previously.
Very glad I asked as I have seen loads of brilliant films over the past 12 months that I may have never stumbled across. Many thanks to everyone who gave me a steer on titles. Merry Christmas to you all and if there are any new "corkers" you have seen recently in the Thriller/Horror genre then please let me know.

I can't really give a top 3 because I have seen so many and I don't find it easy to say one film is better than another.
A sample of films I've liked and seen in the past 12 months include:-
Source Code
Sinister
Moon
Taken
Equalizer
The Mist

Ah ok
Yeah I thought it was pretty good
Better than that candifloss crap that comes out of the big studios
All the comic book movies - you go in with such high expectations
, lots of bangs and flashes, amazing effects
But totally forgotten by the time you get to the car

Yeah, it looks groovy. In a similar vein to Argo as a cinematic experience, I'm guessing?
Must watch it...
