So this is how it reads (unless I've got it totally wrong), you are proceeding uphill in the overtaking lane (middle of three) with a 350D that you are passing to your left and a scooby in front of you, i.e. also in the overtaking lane.
And you overtake the scooby?
Is that how it happened?

Herr Plank accelerated and caused the gap to close.

Well, the car is fast and I was a tad annoyed at Herr Plank's antics.
More concerned that the Scooby driver might have thought I was taking the mickey and/or that I normally drive like that, hence the explanation.
Anyway this thread has the silver lining of being bait for a few trolls so that newer members can see how easy it is to get them to jump to the wrong conclusions and have a feeding frenzy.
Perhaps a few are now on people's 'not to be taken seriously' list

Never 'in'.
The appropriate word is 'driving' (tho' I prefer 'piloting').
And as Bry says - it's a T20 - JDM thoroughbred
Oh - and soz for the fact that I've actually owned a part of Scooby history, and experienced what the trolls are missing

Just for the record though, I'm pretty sure they don't take you seriously.
