NOW we hear the Muslim voice.....

Not all Muslims support what is going on, like we dont necessarily support action in Afghanistan or Iraq, I see a lot of depressing anti Muslim sentiment on Facebook from people I wouldnt expect it from, generally Britain First type Rhetoric with a bit of overly mawkish stuff about soldiers and poor Lee Rigby is been used as capital as well.
I don't think white British are fundamentally racist, ok, some are just utter ***** but Hindu's, Sikh's, Chinese People, Australians and whoever else comes to the UK, to my mind seems to be accepted, but there seems to be a real issue with the Muslim community, the hard of brains on both sides are whipping each other into a frenzy. I have never come across as much racism as the last year or two
I have Muslim friends, they cant understand it, they just want to work hard, make a living and raise their families in peace, they have the same issues as anyone else, they still practice their religion but they integrate and are part of the team, we have a laugh and we chat about cars, we wind each other up, I cant rationalise this with the hatred so many seem to spew forth so frequently and so casually, but I think a percentage of white British are getting pretty radical ideas of their own, I was chatting with a well read chap in the pub that I know and he was predicting some kind of world war three scenario.
I think there has been a negative stereotype of Muslims paraded round, and some of it sadly seems to be true, grooming gangs, Lee Rigby, Crash For Cash scams, Abu Hamza, Suicide bombers, Sharia Law, Benefits, "Muslim only Areas", Burkhas etc etc, and this is what gets focused on and posted ad nauseum on Facebook.
I just think people arent really that different, we all have our peccadilloes and issues, problem is that a lot of the time, Muslims and Non Muslims dont really mix, it isnt like we are going to bump into them in the pub by and large is it, I do think the religion is a large part of it and I cant see that changing anytime soon.

Put simply as the old ruler of Arabia told the Americans when they were flexing their *****... The Arabs came from the desert and they can go back to the desert... Just like we ultimately came from mud houses... We can always go back to them... and take certain scum bags with us... (Evil laughter)

Walk straight into Barcelona FC whilst there is a big game going on.
Tell the fans that from now on they are our bitches. If they do not submit we tell America that Spain is a dictatorship, has wmd's, it needs 'freedom' and there's oil there. Spain would then get bombed back a thousand years by a load of heroes.
Our government then arm the anti government blokes and when they finally get bored and start killing innocent civilians we ask America for a bit more freedom...
Anyway when the west has pretty much bankrupted itself trying to liberate the people who will one day be their sworn enemy... The Muslims can just walk in build mosques, corner shops and turn skeletores castle into a big mosque too (and get some afghan builders to finish building the place).
Or
The other method is to just buy it!

Been that way for a long time on here. The media and the government have done their 'demonising of Muslims in general' job well it seems .... pity those who fall for it can't actually think for themselves, but why bother when someone tells you how to think to save you the bother!

Apologists? Me? Can I have some of what you've been smoking?

Just because someone has a different opinion to yours doesn't automatically mean they are stupid or incapable of thinking for themselves, it just means they have seen things you haven't.
You and I clash as obviously my upbringing was very different to yours, and on most issues you don't see things first hand so assume they either don't exist or the media have made me feel this way.
I could go into the things I've seen and things that have influenced my opinion but I think you are incapable of looking at things from another persons perspective.

I think most people base their opinions on life experiences with a dab of what they see/read/hear from the media. Perhaps your life experiences and what you choose to see/hear/read are different to mine.
Just because someone has a different opinion to yours doesn't automatically mean they are stupid or incapable of thinking for themselves, it just means they have seen things you haven't.

Oh and for the record you have no idea about my upbringing or my life experiences so kindly stop pontificating on something you know zilch about!

This thread for example, I'm open to being shown mass sympathy and the desire to oust any one who could be a potential threat to western civilisation. The biggest example, one Muslim girl raising money, is wonderful. Unfortunately it's one girl, and the amount proves the lack of desire to help.
