looking at the chart is it not the reverse order of what u stated as they seem to be the most restrictive ??

You will have to be quick as they do come up for sale not that often but they are usually sold quickly
Just bought one off ebay for £300 which looks in great condition, hopefully it won't need changing on brackets?

Yep your right powertec is the front runner, and surprisingly k&n the worst for restriction. (I skim read the chart)
Suppose it's all down to following the mass crowd. Although I'm sure all are better than stock.

i guess its a trade off as the least restrictive will also have the least filtration too.

Take no notice Bry, each to their own mate.

It takes a certain type of person to run down what others have (with Marmite & the RB), usually bald, short (or small in other departments).

Get the new car run it for a while, get a decent map on it....do what ever ya fancy and enjoy mate........enough said????

Have run Pipercross before, but a few years back I ran a Simota filter that I was very impressed with.

Sorry Bry, just seen this thread.

Black imo is GORGEOUS.
Being an RB320 is even better !

Get the bloody thing down to the next meet (or at least the Christmas one), which will be my last.

Oh - and ignore detractors (all of which support/wear white shirts during the 6-Nations).

They know - and have done - as much about Scoobys as they do about er... rugby.

Bry, for Ecutek with out a doubt use Bob Rawle (Swindon) mate.
www.brdevelopments.com

He is hard to track down and a very busy man, but trust me don't use anyone else.

Your probably looking around 2 weeks normally with bob from time of booking unless someone has pulled out any earlier.

Your probably looking at a week or 2 before you get in with any of the subaru mappers unless they are already in the area at the time, if they have no waiting list they ain't no good

Had my STI mapped by Indigo GT.

No issues whatsoever. Great service.

Have K&N on both our cars - seem to be ok - touch wood.

I would say about the ITG filter I had on the old car - it was good but it did cause some trouble with the idle control valve - and did gunk up some of the breather pipes.

Andy.
