Mateeboy, I geniunely never will, because they don't exite me. I can appreciate how technically advanced, and how mind boggling they are, but I just don't want to drive or own one, even if I could afford ten of them.
The trouble with a lot of cars in this category is that you can't use them to anywhere near their potential on the road. This, I fear, would make them rather dull to drive.
They also give their owners a false sense of self importance. It's just a car.

To be honest that thread is as bad as this one. Seems full of people up their own *****, spouting crap about people in diesels apparently trying it on but not bothering because 'I have a GTR so I'm far superior to them' when in truth they are probably just reps in their rep mobiles trying to get somewhere in a hurry, to the people scared to overtake in their half decent cars because they might get shown up by the 'I have a GTR so I'm far superior to them' brigade, when in truth they probably just don't give a fvck and are just driving along with the flow of traffic.
Even funnier, those boasting of being quicker than motorcycles 750cc or less.
Oh the fun they must have, in their boring gadget controlled datsuns. Bet few of them realise that riding one is probably ten times more exciting than what they are experiencing.

Why wouldn't it race a rs7,thats not a slow car,gtr probably got scared it'll lose If an old corsa with a 2.0ltr dropped in it pulled up next to me,its worth a race, because its gonna be alot faster than a standard one. So no different to a tuned subaru etc racing a gtr,the gtr should want to prove its superiority!

I'm not arguing if they are a great car or not, I just personally prefer to change gear the old fashioned way, have mechanical steering, and I have a brain that is attached to my foot, so I am quite happy to use that to control the throttle rather than a host of electronic gizmos.
I just wonder how much enjoyment people actually get from driving one on the road. As a track car maybe, but then I would rather have a caterham.

Read my comments again, I did not say I think they are slow. Far from it, which is why in my opinion it would be quite a dull car to live with on a daily basis.

Yes we all love analogue cars but that is not relevant to the point that a mildly tuned up WRX is NOT anywhere NEAR as quick as a GTR. Or, in fact, an A45. Or even my car (which is RWD, six pot and therefore MORE FUN )

^ Exactly and one of the main reasons yours would nuke his wagon and mine probably are their clever flappy paddle gearboxes. Whether its more fun or involving flicking some paddles or just leaving it in auto and mashing the throttle though is a matter of opinion and choice Personally i find it dull and will always have a manual box.

Would say slightly more than mildly tuned! Its more than an exhaust and filter
