if you had an ounce of sense you would realise its not needed on an old wrx, that's more the point it will do nothing other than probably break your weak *** gearbox and if you do get up Any speed your weak *** brakes won't stop you.

spend the money elsewhere on the car for more benefits.

On my previous car I had got this far and still had not had the nos mapped it, yes it would have helped with spool but the car was certainly not lacking in any way. So in my honest opinion I would spend money elsewhere first

Hi there

For meth he will need to run different ECU and gains depends, seen massive gain on meth and seen too bit disappointed results on meth

About the NOS,its really depends how is mapped and what jets are used,I would say with 25HP jet he will gain lot more than with meth mixture mainly on torque side,on HP side, all depends on the mapper,if he wants more for top end, then will have gains there

Risk involved is always there, when you are starting to modify car,if we wouldn't risk,we are still driving boring standard cars, that's my view

If engine will last and will be reliable, its depends, but if car/engine is healthy, then I would say, shouldn't be problem to run NOS for longer period time

He don't want go with full 100hp jet,I've seen friend Honda K20 with 150hp NOS jet and running strong after 2 years of constant abuse on drag strip, but with 25hp NOS jet he still will be on safe side,if its mapped and controlled correctly, then he shouldn't have any problem

Thanks,Jura

As Jura says for meth you would need an ECU which runs 2 maps as you really wouldn't want to be on 20% meth all the time with all the hassle it brings.
I would have thought if the case for NOS at your power level was unecessary then the benifits of meth would be minimal.
It's easy to say spend the money on other mods but they very often don't do what is expected.
In the right hands the WON NOS Kit is a good modification and can be tailored to suit your car. Get your mapper involved and see if it's control can be intergrated into your ECU.

Was going to use a alcatek Ecu or some thing like that but it will have Nos control . But £150 for launch control is a add on . But someone told me that having launch control with do my clutch very quick . But FB tuning is down the road from me so could not get better . And I think my car will be in good hands .
Or for a Ecu what u would u go for

I would look out for a used Simtek/Alcatek, it wouldn't run the NOS right off but would require a slight amendment to the ECU software for it to work and at not great cost.
