No need for nitrous on a car at that level, IMO and agreeing with others.

 

Unless set up properly and mapped in it is a waste of time to be honest, use it for spooling up a nice big turbo, I am going to be using nitrous on my car Jayjay but that is to spool my turbo earlier and will be mapped in and controlled via my alkatek

 

Am not after big BHP 300 bhp is fine for me . just want it to be quick of the lights . Not looking to go 150mph/200mph.
Well the car duz 155mph already . Lol.
Like I say I want it to be quick off the lights very quick & I be leave nos is the way to do that. And some of the u tube clips of cars that are running nos fly down the 1/4 mile .
But I no wear I am going with this now so thanks to all of u that has helped me on this .

TD05 for 300hp and quick off the lights? You are going about this all wrong, get a Billet/Hybrid TD04 on there with some launch control, this will bring the spool time down dramatically.

A TD05 is a large turbo, and more Top end than a TD04. If you want quick off the mark you want a s maller turbo, some head work and a top mount intercooler, get as much gas flowing as fast as possible

I am running a Turbo Technics S206, it is a hybrid T38 full boost at 4kish. With NOS it will come down considerably.

 

why dont you save the money and get a better turbo, then spend whatever money you have left on getting meth safely mapped in, that will give you exactly what you are after.

 

Comparing NOS to the meth,I wouldn't compare that,you will never get better spool with meth,in most cases yes you will get better torque and bhp,but not spool

Going with headwork etc,this will cost him much more than NOS fitting and running NOS,smaller turbo will help him to have better spool up,but never will be fast spooling like with NOS

My TD05 equipped car does the standing 1/4 in 12.4s. That's fast for a 330bhp car, and no NOS on mine.

Andy Forrest runs NOS, 8.2s standing 1/4. Then he's got 1000BHP before the nitrous.

Your car will be quick enough away from the lights, but, depending on the speed limit, you'll be in for a hefty bollocking at the very least if you use the power it has fully.

Run some meth, get it mapped you'll see a marked improvement

Sell the nos on maybe someone that is running proper power that would actually have a use for it. I. E to spool a gt35 or bigger

Nos with the right ECU mapped . Bottal heater & a few more mods ,it's the way to go .
