Engine is fine, runs lovely. If I have to get the map tweaked for the Swirl pot I want to get the idle looked again though as it can still struggle a bit when you load it up with lights on, rear demister etc.

Well unfortunately yes. The E55 does everything I want, bonkers fast, civilised and a comfy cruiser. Decided to go back to one car hence this and the CLK55 are for sale.

Already had quite a few eBay comedians. If it doesn't make decent money I'll just keep it and break it when I have the space.

Let me know when I can come collect it for £5k and I'll be round to yours like a shot!

It's a great car and massive achievement for you that it actually got built and completed in the first place due to all the issues you've had along the way. Don't take a silly offer. Hopefully someone will realise it's true worth before you give up and sell it to Matty @ MB to break like everyone else ends up doing. Really hope that doesn't happen.

It's worth a small fortune in parts so there's no chance I'll be taking a low ball offer on it, some of the people on eBay really are hilarious though 🤣.

Did it sell in the end? Saw the ebay ad finish a few weeks back, but that's not always a guarantee it sold...

Not sold. Still got it, it's not worth selling it too cheap as I'll just keep it and break it.

Car is back up for sale again. I was wanting to make it into a dedicated track car but I just don't have the time or health (Crohn's) anymore 😔.
