Ej20G + GT30

I dont like the GT30s, alot laggier than my current set up, and seemingly not making alot more power?
Ill clarify, it has a meth map on it, and we never did a dyno run on it. So its an educated guess at 560+hp. It knocked 2 10ths off my PB dry drag time, in the wet. So realistically its easily 560 on the meth map.
We are currently rebuilding the engine with AVCS heads, +1mm valves, solid lifters, springs etc with 278 cams in there so there should be a good gain to be had there. I am going to put a silly map on it to try get 600hp out of a standard position turbo
The main difference was the exhaust manifolds and uppipe though. I dont know what results you will get with a smaller up pipe but it will be interesting to see. Mine was a whole set matched together and made a massive difference to the power, the way the car drove etc....

Not bad for a std position turbo tbh

all I know is the guy who did all the design work etc worked with F1 teams etc doing this type of thing, and the proof was in the pudding so to speak.
Mine is a whole system designed to work together, I dont know how you will get on modifying an existing system!
