This was what I was getting at Matty, I'm surprised you haven't had damp problems before now. There would need to be space between the roof and the insulation to allow ventilation to stop the moisture/condensation build up.

I had a problem with the Scooby in the wet weather this evening.The missus picked me up from work and we took the motorway home it was raining and the motorway was full of puddles in some form or another.Anyway the car started playing up like it was miss firing there was lack of power.i got the the Subaru off the motorway down a side street,turned the ignition off and restarted the engine its been fine since.I have no under tray cover underneath could this be anything to do with it.Ive never had a problem before hand in the dry weather and the eml has come on or anything

I won't be refitting the plaster board false ceiling so it'll just be the normal plastic sheet roof panels that any other conservatory has.
