Default subaru dashcommand information not accurate

Just got my obd2 wifi and looking on the andriod apps the dashcommand is free but because I have an iphone I wanted on there aswel plus I'm want a new pioneer radio to have it on display. So what is the difference by paying £7 on itunes and getting it free on andriod as I can't see anything really.

I've had it running but its not accurate I don't think as the idle says 700'ish and the needle on car is about 500'ish and the boost says -9psi on idle and the boost gauge says -22 and I'm not sure about the rest.

So what I was wanting I've got my53 wrx car model on there but there's more information that can be put in to make it more accurate. I can get pictures of what its wanting but thought people on here with dashcommand could help me.
Also can it be made less laggy as its refreshing every 2-3sec by altering The 2 obd2 setting in vehical or is it just down to wifi and the cable rout would be better and more instance on the readings if I had the radio app

before I sold my sti mine showed showed 413bhp, it was mapped to 335bhp. from what I can remember when setting the dashcommand there is a correction factor entered, it seems a bit vague when the dahcommand says set this to .75 or something like that and adjust accordingly.

It's impossible to really fix the lag, it's due to the Impreza's obd interface being slow and outdated for it's time.

You can improve it by having a really simple display. The more things you have on screen, the bigger the golf ball the app is trying to suck through a straw (the slow connection). It's still jumpy though with just one gauge.

FWIW I'd trust the readings coming from the ECU than an analog gauge in the car.

It's under brake specific fuel consumption.

how are you guys getting on with this app??

worthwhile purchase??

was thinking of getting the app, but adding the price of the app and the data cable.. plus all the hassle of setting it all up... not sure if its worth it???

what do you guys think?? worth a punt?

Think the mpg maybe near accurate come to think of it. I can do close to 350 mile on pure motorway driving

Yes you can have more than one vehical. I would of thought cable would be better than wifi. Have a app radio id worth it

Im kinda trying to find a workaround way to have info on screen without having extra gauges so still experimenting with apps atm

Just for info the dashcommand was linked to the stereo using a cheap ebay ipad to rca lead - not perfect yet as when the video transfers when you plug it in the main dial display reverts to main menu on dashcommand but maybe more investigations will prove helpful

Sorry to slightly go off topic but maybe helpful info for others as its one thing getting the obd info but it would also be nice to find a way to display it without balancing an ifone/ipad on kneee etc whilst trying to drive

its an avic f20bt - its a 2010 model so a bit dated but I picked it up off ebay at 3 months old and the guy had paid £900 for it new before he found it wouldn't sit right in his range rover - in case you aren't aware theres an avic forum so all the new maps and firmware to bring the older models in line with newer spec can be handily downloaded - avic 411

have you got any fotos of your hud display in use ? ive seen some nifty looking apps that look good but not tried any yet
