Same here, I do like the front splitter and side skirt extensions they give the car a lot more road presence.

The wheels and rear aluminium exhaust trims should work a treat on your car Ty, a bit like this:

I've also ordered a set of Rally Armor OE mud flaps, I didn't want floor draggers and I wanted something to blend into the cars lines. I know that the Rally Armor products are hard to beat for quality and fitment, these really well just blend into the car.

I got in touch with Justin @ Keith Price last week to order some spare centre caps for the Prodrive GT2 wheels that I've got, good job as well as it appears that the 12 I ordered were the last available from Subaru.
They are already going for stupid money on eBay, just like the PFF7 caps have been going for as well - I've seen a set of 4 for sale at £179.99.
And last but by no means last I've got a Summit front strut brace on order as well, I really wanted a STi flexible strut brace but at around £320 delivered or so from Japan I thought I'd give that a miss.

I took the plunge today and ordered fog lamp kit today from Justin @ Keith Price, after some arm twisting they agreed to give me 20% discount, so inclusive of the VAT they worked out at £240.00 which is a lot cheaper than ICP who have the same kit for sale for £305.00.
I think that will have to be an end to the spending for the moment, and to think I said I would never again go down this road.

We all love the buying and modding it's when the credit card statement comes in is when the stress starts. Think you've covered most everything and improved another car can't wait to see it put together

I want to get everything else sorted before, hopefully what I have in mind for the car will succeed in making it look as good as I imagine it will.

Having gone down the route of a forged engine rebuild before and the eventual outcome from it I have learnt quite a few valuable lessons from it.
Once I have got the car as I want it with the exception of the engine then I will turn my attention to that, then I can start to amass a lot of the ancillary parts required.
The engine will no doubt be a lot more capable than what I will require it to do, as I plan to keep the TMIC and if the turbo is changed then it won't be running stupid BHP as I have done before.
I still don't know whether to go for a CDB conversion, pinned / pegged block or whether to keep the block as is.

Have you considered doing something like this with your rear diffuser along with your front grill? (The red strip)

Cheers Glenn, I just have the small matter now of waiting for him to get back to me.
I am not sure on the red pinstripe on the rear end to be honest, I don't even know if I would even put a red pinstripe now on the front grille.
I am aiming to try and keep the lines of the car quite clean and simple but nothing is set in stone as yet.

So today was a day of more progress but not as much as I was aiming for but still progress, some of the jobs I wanted to get out of the way would have been pointless to have got done when the front and rear bumpers are coming off shortly for painting anyway.
Subaru Front Fog Lamps Installed
Not too bad a job really, no need to remove the bumper just partially disconnect the front splash guards from the bumper to allow access. As per Subaru's instructions the necessary looms were already in place, so connect them to the lamps and them secure the lamps in place with 2 plastic nuts, one screw and a locking clip per side. The fog lamp trims then just push into place and it's done.
Next was to remove the steering column cowls, remove and renew the light stalk switch with a new stalk and then refit the cowls, finally put a supplied relay into the relay board and check the lamps are all working fine, overall quite an easy job and far easier than I was expecting.
Summit Racing Front Strut Brace
Took seconds to fit, top quality item as you would expect from Summit Racing. You will see the poor state of the TMIC, I was thinking about straightening out all the bent fins but on closer inspection I am just going to get a custom TMIC made by AH Fabrications.
It won't be cheap but as it will have the best motor sport core it will be more than capable of handling the power that I am aiming for plus it should actually increase the power that the engine will produce.
As you can see the core is pretty much FUBAR'd and desperately needs attention, so better to bite the bullet and get a top quality item which will negate the need to go down the FMIC route later.
Zunsport Lower Grille
Again seconds to fit, literally pushes into location and then locks into position. I have put these on virtually every Impreza I have owned and I like the protection they give and the visual impact as well. No pics of this yet but once I have had a chance to give the car a wash I will post some further pics up.

Crickey I thought my TMIC was in bad nick... And yes I did painstakingly straighten out all of the fins...
Any updated external photos with the au sport fitted?
Plus since when did you and Ryan start having matching strut braces? Oh err missus !!

Matching strut braces? Well as he is an agent for Summit Racing then I got it at a very good price indeed, so when you can buy top quality at a very reasonable price then I would have been foolish to have gone anywhere else.
I am not sure what 'au sport' is, care to elaborate?
