The new owner may well go down a different route to mine, I know the AH Fabrications TMIC and Mishimoto X Line uprated radiator and fan cowling package will be put up for sale soon.
I know what's being planned for the revised project and it far exceeds my own plans.

personally,
id say try a non Subaru car.
while I like/loved my scoobs the 2.0tfsi engine is very capable.
theres a 2007 sprint blue s3 for sale for £13k with 60k on the clock, add a grand and your around 320bhp, add a couple of grand your close to 400 bhp add 4k and your close to 500bhp,
don't dismiss it bud, very good torquy engine, like a spec c but better

There are 2.0Tfsi Quattro too, just in things like the a4
I'd drive one before dismissing it. Personally my Leon cupra k1 was my favourite and best driving car. Better than the spec c I had. would of been immense if awd
The new 280 cupra was also quicker round the ring than my spec c in figures so that says something for handling

I did however look at the V8 engined S4 and RS4 which I do like a lot but the trouble being the year and mileage that cars within my price range, they just had too many negatives and potential massive repair costs looming.

Ah the gti is a girl's car though
In the golf you need to look at the edition 30 as it has the bigger turbod k04 engine,
The cupra get the same engine but with better suspension and steering components and breaks,
The s3 has the lot and 4wd
The gti is a super tame version, think wrx
My a4 Quattro estate special edition is now 260 and feels like it handles a lot better than my golf edition 30 ever did.
Really mate, speak to big fud. He really misses his cupra k1 too.

The new owner has now totally upped the game on this car and is aiming for around 700bhp or so, as a result quite a few of the parts and going not to be used.
So later on today I'll be listing them for sale along with some very good prices which are cheaper than I bought them for.
