Restraint, what's that?
I know and if circumstances had been different then it would be on my drive right now, never mind I have a nice collection of parts waiting to be fitted to it to make up for that.

I have just ordered a Subimods Hella Supertone Horn install kit, it keeps the frond end looking good due to the uniform spacing of the horns.
You get a mounting bracket plus an adaptor loom to keep it all looking OE and neat and tidy.

Plus of course I ordered a set of horns as well but this time from the UK.

Just for the balance Ditch... (as it's obvious you haven't owned or driven an FSTi)
I've owned a dozen Impreza's of all classic & New Age ilk and and still consider my Forester immensely capable for XC progress (have the Type R for ultimate tarmac terror)
The handling is spot on - OE. I have changed out the rarb, but that's it. It really doesn't need anything else - STi did what I would consider a much better job on it than they did with most other STi's
Anywat, we're not trying to convince the OP, he already knows (nice choice btw, as is your car ditch - wagons rule as I've always maintained - I've owned a few)

We can however agree that Wagons rule.

I got sent these pics yesterday of my new wheels, OK I haven't even got the car yet but the wheels I think will look great on the car.
I think they're the best looking wheels for the Hatchback STi plus in by far the best colour as well.
Plus of course I'm picking the car up in Friday as well.
I'm really looking forward to this week, my deliveries from Japan and America are already in the UK and might be with be tomorrow, there's nothing like opening up deliveries of goodies.

Top choice of wheels there I think they will really set the car off with all the other goodies you have already bought
What colour are they would they be charcoal anthracite?
Look forward to seeing it in the flesh now though

I love this wheel colour as it masks brake pad dust as well, so it's a win win.

Not too long to go now, tomorrow I have an early start to take the S202 up to Preston to it's new owner, have a spot of late lunch, then catch a train to Euston Station, London then a taxi ride to Fenchurch Street Station and catch another train across to Rainham.
Pick up the Hatch STi and then take a leisurely drive back home, I hope to be leaving Essex around 8.00pm so I won't be home until the early hours of Saturday.

Everything went well yesterday, dropped the S202 off to its new owner in Preston, caught the train down to London, caught a cab across to the next train station, caught the next train to Rainham without issue.
It was only when I called Chris to say I couldn't find him that it dawned on me that I was in the wrong county, I needed to be in Rainham in Kent and not Essex where I'd gone.
Luckily they aren't that far apart so Chris came and picked me up, we got down to his place a lot later than we'd planned as a result.
The drive home was a little treacherous on the English side of the journey due to torrential downpours in places plus the resultant standing water but the car coped well with it all.
I left her in I mode for most of the journey and used sport sharp mode for the occasional stretch of road just to see what the difference really is and it's marked in the throttle response and speed pickup.
I've not taken any pics yet as I want to give her a good clean first plus I haven't long risen as I didn't get home until 02.10 this morning.

Yes the drive back was good, I was pretty tired by the time I got home but I did make a midway stop at Leigh Delamare services to get a drink and stretch my legs.

You are more than welcome to have a drive of mine Daz, I would say that if you are going to modify it then the standard STi is the best option for the same reason as I didn't do too much to the S202 as modifying a special or limited edition model will rob it of value.
