Committing suicide (whilst killing and maiming innocent women and children)for ones religious beliefs is absolutely insane.
I'm sorry but there is nothing remotely brave about that.
All religions cause violence and wars. Fact!

As for bombing targets with drones, well there are your real terrorists right there.

I'm not trying to defend them, I'm just pointing out that in the absence of hi-tech apparatus Islamists have to improvise and this includes suicide bombing. The act that really terrifies their opponents, particularly in Afghanistan, is their capacity to infiltrate the police or the forces. It puts everyone under suspicion, never knowing if one of your colleagues is about to take you out. It's psychological warfare and it takes a massive commitment.

I would love to disagree with you like i always do however the evidence that man utilizes religion and nationalism over another in a negative way is overwhelming.

If we look at the news this week we had a few Israelis kids killed and some Palestinian kids killed in revenge. If there is a God why the **** does he let all this happen? Seriously.... we have three religions who pretty much believe in the same thing yet we all secretly wish to annihilate each other!

Every religion believe they are the right ones and all the others are wrong. No matter how they dress it up this is what they all believe. Yet God who has all these various fan clubs doesn't simply make an appearance in everyone's dreams and say 'Hey Guys, it's me... all get on from now on okay'.

Anyway i'm going off on a tangent again....

We cannot comment on wether a particular person is right or wrong. Until we see our country bombed to crap and have occupying forces holding the whole population to hostage whilst they play games with the folk who dare to fight back we cannot comment. This is the bit why nationalism is as messed up as religion. We will back our cause without rational thought. Any rational person could look beyond nationalism however many cannot. It's the same thing with religious folk.

We have the government making anyone going to Syria a terrorist. Fact is we as humans should help out anywhere where there is injustice. That includes the Middle East, South Asia, North Korea and reigning in the Americans. It should not be that we as Britons are helping x or we as Muslims are helping y. It should be that we as Humans are helping z.
