C'mon England!!

They're usually the same bunch who complain about anything to do with the UK and everything within, I put it down to them having a negative slant in life; quick to complain and get pleasure from other’s misery. Majority of those who’ve mocked England’s performance/players didn’t even support their home country but are the first to come out of the woodwork after a loss.
Fortunately, like football hooligans, they are in the minority.

I am by no means a miserable person, my glass is always half full but I have to admit to laughing when I see grown men crying about loosing a game of football.
I do like to watch the big games and watched England last night for the second half, considering what these guys get paid they're a shambles and a disgrace to their country, I don't know how they dare take money for what they do, or not as the case may be. With all the ill's in the world I fail to see how people can get so worked up about a game football.
Imo they are a bunch of over paid pre-maddonas that just turn out to collect their pay cheques and totally lacking when it comes to will to win, dump the lot of them I say and get a load of 3rd division players that have some real passion and desire, it's not as if the results could be any worse.

I must be the only one in the UK who think we played ok
lost by 1 goal to two v good sides, we looked dangerous in spells, maybe we lacked a little experience at the back, but to me that was preferable to the "same old same old" I see when watching England play
I have seen Suarez play and he his truly a world class player, he will be the best player in most teams
maybe I have low expectations - I am an arsenal fan after all

It's not that they under achieve, they ain't that good to begin with.
You lot just expect too much from them considering they are slightly above average at the best of times.
As soon as you realise they are not the world beaters you think they are the better TBH.

There are a number of weaknesses in our team, but the big one is we can't finish.
We hit the post/bar and should have done better with two good chances that their keeper saved but shouldn't really have had the chance.
How many times do we hear that they are overpaid, l agree they do get paid crazy amounts but it's not their fault, would anyone turn around and say no l will play for less.
I believe they do care and they do try, like it or not these are the best players that we have.
I think the manager has done the right thing taking and playing some of the youngsters.
I for one hope that Italy win and we go into the last game with a chance of getting out the group.

Let's be honest, we've been a mediocre side for as long as the last two decades; unable to deliver against the higher calibre teams when they're playing to form. I take no pleasure in saying that, but the media and public still seem to be living off the success of 1966. It's time to wake up and smell the coffee.

You're good, Hodgy. I think they were diabolical, and have been; for a while since I chose to watch a bit of footie. I admire most sports and I enjoy watching big matches. I go all excited and say- "Yaaaye!, "Oh, no!", "Get there, you so n' so....!" and "Damn!"" etc. with my popcorns and Rubicon mango juice on the go. I was gutted because by not watching the full match I missed out on the adrenaline rush phenomenon for myself with the excuse of an international match; no matter what sport. In addition, I always support England, because England is a poor cousin to Wales.
As that kind looking man Shearer brutally said, England really need to up their game for world level comps. One has to be sometimes cruel to be kind.
Pool/Snooker comps are difficult to watch on TV, so is bleddy Darts. Recently watched my son and daughter play pool in a pub on our warm afternoon out, and that was funny. Both of them were pretty sh7t at it, and they're aware of it.
Car races on TV do my head in. They go on and on with their drilling sounds, and I get confused with the cars and their drivers. Right recipe for migraine! Sorry, f1.

Never mind, there's always next time (although I bet the pubs are truly pi$$ed off!)
New Zealand v England to look forward to tomorrow morning, Sky Sports 1, 8:30 am KO.
We've lost the last two games by a tiny margin and aren't expected to win tomorrow.
However, I've a feeling we can at least restore some pride in English sport having pushed the All Blacks all the way.
Doesn't matter what shape yer ***** are, we can support every English team!

Thing is it's like a broken record, every 2 years.
IS a 'revolution' happening at schools/grass roots level?! All the experts, etc. keep banging on about this after all - but I don't hear/see anything happening(?)
Such a disgrace... Surely the ridiculous amount of revenue the Premier League generates can syphon off a wedge to help fund said change? What's going on - anyone know?
