quick question regarding hks ssqv

the plates are different m8
the hole in the centre is different its slightly lower than the other and 1 of them has a circle in the middle of the plate for a o-ring to fit into

I wouldn't be fitting it without some sort of o-ring seal.

I carnt fit at all at the min

need to find the right flange but I have all the ones they sell on ebay

well rung around a few places and it seems that hks only sell the flange with the ssqv and wont sell them separate so that's me

looks like another ornament for the shed as it wont fit with any other flange

If you can work out what you need and get me some sizes, I can machine you some kind of spacer
Or try to get your money back and fit a blanking plate ! Lol

would my car run ok with a blanking plate ? not very clued up on subarus mate as you can tell

and carnt get a refund as I brought it off ebay

not sure if it will fit but can't hurt to ask the seller the size of the bolt center's and dimensions of the plate.

its a bit like this one mate I found but don't fancy wasting another £30 on a plate and then find out it doesn't fit ill be collecting them very soon pity there wasn't local so I could see before I buy them

That is the exact one i bought and its a perfect fit on my blob wrx. What model is your intercooler off?

The Sti intercooler is bigger than a WRx so the clearance was lessen when uprating to the STI intercooler. I've fitted a SSQV on both Bugeye and Blobeye STi and fitment was as easy as counting 1 to 3.

Sure its not for a classic, as the top mount intercooler/re-circ valve design is different to the newage!! slightly different shape flange for a start???
