You once questioned what was and wasn't altruism, it was almost as if you thought people couldn't be altruistic by nature. Almost as if everyone has a hidden agenda.

Why are you so bereft of anything happy or positive? Every thread you post has a negative and hate filled undertones. Is it a reflection of how you feel inside?

I've still yet to witness a truly altruistic act by a human. Not very jolly, I know, but there you go. It's fair to say I think and feel we live in a deeply selfish, materialistic society.

We do to a point. It's in our psyche our genes even. When you talked that couple in to a loan they didn't need, it pricked your conscience but hey the commission paid for a new Mongoose exhaust. We all question society and events at some point but life goes on. If you have such a negative and pessimistic outlook then you'll alienate all those around you. People are drawn to happy and positive individuals they avoid the unhappy ones. Life has it's trials and tribulations but it's not all doom and gloom.

You or anyone will never witness a truly altruistic act by any human, and there are no super humans living on this earth. It's neither jolly nor sad- just a fact. It's human nature to expect something back. Usually a good one for a good one.
My coffee table doesn't expect me to wax and polish it. That's because it's not a human. It has no beating heart and complexly wired brain to even expect to see someone who's without any expectation at all.

Jeez have I missed something, JT doesn't seem any more opinionated than every other tom dick n Harry on these forums!
I love this nsr board as it bring great debates on great topics that everyone including JT has their right to express their own opinion!
It's banter!
I'm 100% atheist and think believers of god and such are mental, but wouldn't think any less of believers as people. It brings good debates
