Been looking at who makes what in 19's. MR TYRE in Nottm said the Hankooks are a good all rounder in 19's. get good RATEINGS (A-G on the label)

Conti's get a wet grip A rating.

I have 235/35/18's on our car and they are superb for the money. First set came fitted on the wheels as a deal and I anticipated changing to something better when they wore out. I was so impressed with them I bought a second set. Great in dry, good in wet, awful in snow (as expected of wide low profile summer sport tyres), good cornering, braking and accelerating grip. I've had Nankangs, so know about ditchfinders, but these are fantastic, truthfully.

No different to Avons albeit a decent budget tyre

I looked at some cheap tyres but changed my mind, these seem to have a good wet rating so you pays your money and takes your chance
