Looks like your getting a fair amount of work done on the car,

look forward to see how the nur spec looks and sounds, I'm after one myself for my Blobeye WRX.

If at all possible can you take a video of what it sounds like, most videos I have seen are STIs with it on and de-catted system (assume your keeping your cat).

so finally had some time to fit the exhaust, this nur spec was never made to fit my car as its for a classic impreza, so i got modifying

first is removal of the old system

then start changing the hangers

you can see where they were and them then in the new place

then for the more tricky bit, the system was too long, if i fitted it like this it would look rather stupid- and more hanger work would be needed, so chopped two inches out of the back box

and all welded back up with some hand made gaskets and plenty of sealant

and car back on the floor

as requested a video

sounds best with ear phones, but still alot lot better in person, this really is a loud system, 20 minute drive and your ears are ringing a bit. de cat will be done at some point for even more noise!

also these arrived, jdm headlights, will hopfully fit tomorrow

That's looking quite tidy but that scoop is hideous on bugs - they don't look pleasant even on blobs

so the bonnet was a major disappointment as it arrived like this

still disputing a refund with the seller and ebay, getting annoyed now!

but did pick up a passenger wing and fog covers.

found a similar photo to what it should look like when done

then a stroke of luck and came across this gold mine and i can use the scrap bonnet for all the seals and under side- this is a genuine carbon fibre bonnet made by seibon!

oh and i bought these

merry Christmas all! had my parents pay for the sti spoiler to finally be sprayed up, loved how simple it was to fit and pleasantly surprised to find minimal rust on the underside of the old spoiler which is now all sealed up. looks much better now if i do say so myself

not liking the spoiler chris?

been making a start on the front bumper over the last couple evenings, bumper came bare so taken a while to source the trims and covers, so first job was to strip the aero splitter things off and start sanding, one thing i couldnt find was the covers for the headlight washers so thought as the bug doesnt have them i may as well remove them lol

so made some templates up

then got hold of an old fuse box cover and cut them out

plastic welded in

sanded down

filler

and then sanded again, with a trial fit of where we are at

slowly getting there on the bumper now, more to come
