Default Jacobs bug eye impreza wrx

so today after a couple weeks of searching i have finally found a nice clean example of an impreza wrx. it is completely original, including paintwork, it has the prodrive pack fitted by subaru in its early life which includes lowering springs (think they are 40mm drop) free flowing back box and a few blue silicone tubes in the engine, picking it up sunday and cannot wait

first things are to give it a good clean and sort the wheels out as they are curbed alot! and have winter tyres on so will keep them as spare and get a new set, sti spoiler has already been ordered

Looks tidy!.... Not a fan of the spot lights tho!! Prodrive springs lower by 25mm I believe.

The round spots do match the other lights but are a bit too 80s for the car. Looks tidy though

picked the car up today, and i love it straight away, will take a week or two to get used too properly. 4 wheel drive system is very impressive and a good amount of power... for now few photos

and the first mod, double din installed, had to hardwire it but went well and it all works haha

if the weather is good tomorrow will give the inside and out a good clean

so the car had a bit of a hic up lol. driving along and the car stopped, the clock fuse was blowing again, which was cutting in the immobiliser cutting the fuel pump. so got someone out who removed the immobiliser to find someone had put a wire in 5 gauges too small, so lots of extra heat! and this had melted the coating on three wires which together shorted the fuse out, so cut and repaired the loom and then found a few more dodgy spots and re wired these too alls running sweet again.

had to take the dash out to get to it all

but was nice and easy

and a couple stickers

hopfully have another update tomorrow if all is well

cheers guys, im loving it! wasnt completely sure on the wheels and their colour when i picked them up but as soon as they went on it changed the car completely. cant stop looking at her now.
love the colour too, i like the rarity of it and after i polished and waxed it for the first time a few days ago its so glossy, just need a few dents taken out, lots of stone chips but cant do much with them, next sti spoiler!

So have been doing a few things after work this week this is the stock boot with a rubber mat and the problem is as soon and you put a tool box in the back it just bends so I decided to fix this

Original ply floor

And all stripped out

Started cutting some shapes in some 10mm ply

Starting to fit

Havnt got a spare wheel so why not use the space!

Carpet added, can you see what it is?

Floor for some amps

Carpet on the main floor

And sub in

Just waiting to order some 6x9 boxes to go either side

Then I took all the badges off the boot, nice and clean now

Then something shiny arrived in the post

Will be on some time this week

Looking good, a detango of the headlights and some fresh paint on the calipers would finish it off for me

Regards,
