I am not preaching that all farmers are compassionate on the contrary some are s**T's but when a animal is being killed for meat and is stunned the animal is not aware of its fate. But it seems to me that you are saying that just because its going to die it doesn't matter how. Maybe you would be OK with us just beating them to death slowly. P.S don't think for a minute that you know what farmers think about there animals(unless your a farmer of course) . I use to have about 200 cows in the milking herd and they would live for about 12 years on average .I knew everyone of them and would care for them as if they were a much loved pet.

Most of the beef if not all you eat is called clean meat and has to be under 30 months. Dairy meat is mainly used for pet food and the many thousands of other products. You should have a look what products contain animal products, its amazing. I think that your car will even have lots but don't hold me to that.

You're also going to great lengths to tell us how you take great care of your animals. Like some latter day Dr. Doolittle. Have you got some idyllic pasture where your animals retire to? Spending their last days comfortably and dying of old age.

After only reading the initial post I am quite disappointed with this to be honest. I have nothing wrong with their religion, and I say "their" as in this is not my religion. I really don't care for anyone's beliefs to be honest, I know this might sound callus or harsh but I've enough going on in my life without time to offer time to a faith.

I really do understand why people do choose a faith or belief, but it's just not me. I have a few friends that are Muslims and a few people I'd class as forum friends that have beliefs. Also Christian friends etc for the matter of not being racist!

But why trailer a food "off" the menu just because of a faith or belief?

We have people who are vegan that dine in restaurants that offer all foods, yet nothing is taken off the me use, just added for those that choose that belief!

I honestly feel Subway will do more damage than good making this choice.
