Threads like these always leave me amazed more people don't fit reversed inlet manifolds. The pipework ends up being so much neater for a FMIC that way.

Agree, I'm thinking of moving to reversed inlet, shorter/neater pipe work and a cooler routing too.

Going rotated is one of those jobs that requires total commitment. We've built them both ways and I'm not certain that the difference is as much as all that, but it certainly sexes it up a bit!

Yeah I'd imagine the performance difference on a road car isn't that drastic. Though as you say, it does look much more right. The mess of pipe work you end up with on a conventional FMIC looks more than a little Heath Robinson.

+1 on this. A little bit of effort really tidies the bay up even more so with a rotated turbo but I can't afford that

But isn't rotated the only way to go for really big power because of turbo limitations?

And where are the pictures of the scooter engine?
