Andy said he won't fit it to my ECU and just pop a standard map on so I can drive it around unit mapped. Guessing he wants me buy new, gave excuse why he couldn't.

If you or someone you know is ok with a soldering iron then tis an easy job, instructions on the website.
As for a base map,I'm sure someone on here will have the one to suit your car.
And from memory, members Ben Harris and piehole both have uk2000 my97/98 and self map.

^^ this - and if you need a map to get you running I should have a standard one to suit.

Cheers for help lads. I've got a mate who can solder it. I can solder myself but wanted a proper job done, not my bodge job. Currently running Prodrive ecu so would be swapping it out for that. But the esl was mapped for quite a few mods so would 100% need a base map thanks.
