Hi mate,
A general quesion for you (to save me the 25p a minute call to India). I'm getting less than 10mps on my XL 20mbs connection, and after scanning the interweb, I'm thinking that it might be my modem at fault. It's an old Terayon Terajet TJ210 which was phased out by NTL in 2002 and apparently does not work with the newer network speeds.
What is the policy on getting a replacement to a newer model so I can actually get the advertised speed on my connection?

Don't worry. I've found the appropriate page on the ntl website, and I do need a modem upgrade. Have to wait until next month now though, I've forgotten my account number and just shredded my last bill with it written on
