Default New SATA-II Hard Drive on SATA Mobo?

Old drive I use for backing up main drive has just given up the ghost. Was looking around for a 250gb drive as seem most space for your cash. Most of the ones I was looking at state SATA-II - I assume this is compatible with my motherboard (Asus A8N SLI)?

I was looking at Seagate and Western Digital which have both done me proud in the past and come with 5yr warranties.

Cheers,
Simon

Yup should work fine, you may need to use the onboard jumper to tell it you plan on using it as a normal sata but i shouldn't imagine so
